Meghan Markle and Prince Harry News and Updates Part 2

Other thread is coming up on 450 pages, seems like time to put it out of its misery. I'll ask Jeff to lock it and we can have the same argument for another 400 pages here!

Nobody should be citing Piers Morgan as an authoritative voice on anything. Most people in the UK hate his guts. Him bashing H & M probably helps them.

Harry is going to be unhappy until he reconciles with his family which may be out of the question now. It’s going to be ugly. I’m not sure I can make sense out of Meghan’s claims that she had no idea what the royal family was like. It’s pretty unbelievable.

I'm intensely curious what the Prime Minister of the entire United Kingdom is going to say to defend the royal trash heap.

Also by the time this thread ends, we might not have a British monarchy left.

My dear dcumers, you are so totally naive and blind.
Here is what is happening here, and it is plain and simple.

Harry blames the RBF for his mother's death, and before that, he blames them for how it was handled. He blames his dad and his grandma for all of it.
And they are to blame!
He is out for revenge, and he is taking them down.
You know the same way most of the dcum cuts off their parents and families cause they are toxic? Stop being hypocrites here; BRF is toxic; if they were your family, you would cut them off.
Also, it seems that Harry is not a spineless twit, regardless of what he might sound like. He is out for blood and blood he is getting. Why should he and Meghan take it quietly and be a good sport about it? Think about it, they crucified his mother, and for what? For wanting to have a real marriage and not turning a blind eye? Watch the documentary on Disney+, in her own words. What was done to Diana is nothing short of criminal behavior.
I, for one, am proud of him.

I feel bad for poor Archie and his little sister. They're going to watch this interview and all the reactions to it, when they're older. Poor kids, a lot of the private stuff should remain private, should have remained private.

I think the interview was powerful and good for them that they did it but I also don't see the BRF 'being abolished' any time soon. They bring in buckets of tourist money and it seems like they would need an exceptional amount of political unity in parliament to do anything about it (which seems like it would require an act of god or something).

The British people for the most part live comfortable lives and will not be storming the castle gates because they are aholes to a family member (which I think they were).

I do think this is a big hit on their shiny unflappable image though and the clear lies to the press put last week's oppo drop in new light.

Thanks for starting a part deux! I also posted we needed a new chapter!

it's a family that harbors a pedophile. Maybe Harry and his family are better off without them

BBB world news discussing the interview now.

Debating whether they are a polarizing couple or if the institution and media were attacking them. BBC commentator is white, and guest is black.

Guest is saying the family must respond, noting the dirt had to be aired because the family failed to deal with it privately.

I imagine Diana's interview and the bravery it took to do it (even if she subsequently regretted it) gave Harry inspiration and confidence in taking this step. Sometimes our parents can show us how to be brave by example.

Diana died because she got in a car with a drunk driver and chose not to wear a seatbelt.

You right. They should google their parents, read all the horrible and nasty articles and not hear from mommy and daddy their side of the story. They should learn to never stand up to bullying.

This. The fact that the villains of this family and Meg and Harry not a disgusting pedo tells you everything you need to know.

Where do we go from here?

I think the interview succeeded at painting them as sympathetic victims to some. More importantly, it shifted focus to Charles and William as the bad guys.

There are a few big BRF events in June and July that would ostensibly include Harry: trooping of the guard, Philip’s birthday, and the unveiling of Diana’s statue.

Meghan is having a baby, so she’s off the hook.

Will Harry attend?

Will he repair his relationship with his father and brother?

Will they respond to the interview?
