Meghan Markle and Prince Harry News and Updates Part 2

They bring in buckets of tourist money and it seems like they would need an exceptional amount of political unity in parliament to do anything about it (which seems like it would require an act of god or something).

The British people for the most part live comfortable lives and will not be storming the castle gates because they are aholes to a family member (which I think they were).

I do think this is a big hit on their shiny unflappable image though and the clear lies to the press put last week's oppo drop in new light.

Brexit and covid have hit the British people hard.

This could be the making of Charles/William. Or Kate, who needs to graduate from zooming to in-person meetings.

Or it could be the end of the British Royal Family.

In these years of Cancel culture, it’s interesting that 100 years of holding on to the monarchy.... this might be the end.

I mean longer than 100, but with several other countries dropping their monarchs 80-100 years ago.

Also by the time this thread ends, we might not have a British monarchy left.

Most likely something about race and inclusiveness. And hate won't be tolerated or something along those lines.

Here is what is happening here, and it is plain and simple.

Harry blames the RBF for his mother's death, and before that, he blames them for how it was handled. He blames his dad and his grandma for all of it.
And they are to blame!
He is out for revenge, and he is taking them down.
You know the same way most of the dcum cuts off their parents and families cause they are toxic? Stop being hypocrites here; BRF is toxic; if they were your family, you would cut them off.
Also, it seems that Harry is not a spineless twit, regardless of what he might sound like. He is out for blood and blood he is getting. Why should he and Meghan take it quietly and be a good sport about it? Think about it, they crucified his mother, and for what? For wanting to have a real marriage and not turning a blind eye? Watch the documentary on Disney+, in her own words. What was done to Diana is nothing short of criminal behavior.
I, for one, am proud of him.

Diana died because she got in a car with a drunk driver and chose not to wear a seatbelt.

If she had remained under royal protection, she would never have got in that car.

All of this has happened before (Edward and Wallis Simpson) and it will all happen again.

Oh please, the monarchy is not coming to an end because of something an American gold digger who feels snubbed said to Oprah (and Oprah clearly didn't believe it).

Will Harry (6th in line) single handedly end the monarchy?

Yep. The U.K. is in a financial spiral. Their kids are being fed by UNICEF and the U.K. government is fomenting a rebellion in the NHS by refusing to give their (government-funded) nurses nationwide a pay raise over 1%. In my opinion, the royals are a match to the tinderbox especially considering a half billion dollar renovation of their main palace was started last year. BAD TIMING.

it's a family that harbors a pedophile. Maybe Harry and his family are better off without them

This. The fact that the villains of this family and Meg and Harry not a disgusting pedo tells you everything you need to know.

Yes, Andrew is really what people should be talking about, odd that Meghan and Harry didn’t shine a light there.

Agreed. Are you arrogant and naive enough to believe this will even put a dent in the RF? No, no the RF won’t be ‘cancelled’.

I'm convinced Kate and William are going to have a 4th child after this interview to push him down to #7

You thought she should know that they would confiscate her passport and drivers license and not let her go to lunch without permission?

LOL its the royal family - he has no control over them and that's the problem. They kicked out the only minority, black, American member of the family. They can't just prop another one up and say 'look here!'. If they could have that person would have been on a 2-hour counter interview on the BBC at the age of 8. I said what I said.
