With a bigger logo than the current CYA one?

Also regarding CCL the teams are better then NPL teams. An older Purple NPL played a CCL2 who was missing 4 players and it was a equal match.

Top half of NPL - like all of Strikers and Kickers teams - would have no problem competing against top CCL I teams. CYA as a whole isn’t indicative of NPL’s level.

CYA older teams are terrible.

It’ll be interesting to see how many players they keep once the clubs merge. If you’re losing a spot on a top team, time to start looking. If you’re keeping a spot, but having to practice further away with a new team, might as well see what else is out there

No turning back now, congrats good luck, hope the merger doesn't water down the player pool too much.

Chantilly and centerville may as well be in the same zip code. Traveling to one is the same as the other.

The website says all existing players will be offered a spot but not a spot back with their existing teams or coaches. LOL. I can just imagine the angry parents.

07s in SYA are really good. I suspect CYA kids and parents may have to look elsewhere if they are looking for top team

If that happens, what is the point of the merger? If I have a kid at CYA who is actually good, and their team is dissolving, why wouldn’t I look elsewhere - at least McLean isn’t responsible for the kids team falling apart?

Why is your kids cya team dissolving?
