Because they can’t develop or keep good players. Or even ID talent. Just watched the B team (former SYA coach) just dominate Dylan’s A team. B team coach obviously went with size speed and game smarts. Dylan went with more footskills and individual playmakers. Two of their players just sit on the on-sides line waiting for a thru ball. There may be some unhappy parent at mid year. Would say half the gold team is not at that level.

You sound like a rookie parent. It sounds like a summer scrimmage with a new team, why wouldn’t you focus on foot skills and test out your playmakers? Going big and fast will win you a scrimmage, congrats. Does not sound like game smarts, sounds like b team coach is just trying to win.
nope .. I actually coach for loudoun. Dylan did a poor job evaluating. Or was under pressure to keep CYA players. B team has 4-5 kids that belong on gold and vice versa.

Lol, a Loudoun coach who is for size and speed and direct play. What a revelation.
No a Loudoun coach who likes to see team play. Passing is the game. Combine that with Speed and Size. Not having your best player sitting near offsides waiting for a thru ball. That top team is not going to do well in CCL play. And thats without Loudoun and Arlington.

I find it hard to believe that Loudoun coach would sit through a 09 internal scrimmage. Possessing the ball is the only sustainable method of playing. That isn’t to say you don’t want your attackers playing high, but just sprinting it out is not soccer. You can win, but you are also very easy to shutdown. I don’t know Dylan or the teams but it sounds like his approach is better than the B team coach. It does sound like a parent deflecting by pretending to be a Loudoun coach.

More likely it’s a disgruntled B team parent.

I have had a kid suffer through Dylan's coaching and his approach is NOT better than anyone's. His philosophy really doesn't matter since he doesn't actually teach anything. He shows up to practice without a plan, stands around talking to other coaches while the kids basically organize themselves, provides zero advice, and then shows up late on game day. That is Dylan's approach.

sounds like you didn’t read what he wrote. I was there. I have a kid on A team. The B team was possessing and passing. A team has solid players with skills. But in that game they sat nearly offsides the whole scrimmage waiting for a thru ball. This should of been corrected during scrimmage but was not. Not a fan of Dylan currently.

You are resurrecting this post with the same phrase? Why do you keep doing this? Your... personality, experiences, status in life, etc... are starting to become morbidly fascinating to me.

No - I'm not the same person. Maybe that settles your bets?
