Bedtime is hell with my almost-10-year-old

This was my first thought. Also, put away devices after school. We do this w/our 9yo. Because iPad is not an option, she needs to read, go outside, play with the dog, etc.

This
exercise
Shower earlier in day
Melatonin gummy
In bed at x time and then if she has light off every night by x time she gets to pick a special thing you all do as a family or eat, on weekend

Time for some tough love. No electronics after 9PM and must be ready for bed by 10PM (shower, tooth brushes etc). Let her read a book in bed but nothing else after 9PM, eventually with nothing else to do she's gonna be bored enough to just sleep. Also enforce a wake up time - how about a family breakfast at 7AM or brisk walk at 6:30AM, drag her out of bed. If she has to get up earlier, the late bedtime isn't going to feel too great.

Look you gotta put your foot down - she's 9 and if she can get away with this she's going to try and overrule you on other bigger things later. I got a teenager so trust me on this.

No electronics in the room ...tell her you can do what you want in here and stay up as late as you want but don't come out of this room.....she will draw, read or play with random toys till she falls asleep....and all of the comments about waking her up earlier are a must....if you slept in every day you would stay up late as well.
