+1 Ex presidents are in a different realm (generally speaking; Trump should just be in the pen when he’s an ex, thought I will tolerate the Federal Medical Center in Rochester, MN, which would be a neat bit of symmetry since Reagan’s Alzheimers was treated at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN). Obama has put in more than enough work. |
| We need to fight as hard as we can to both prevent a vote and to get Biden elected. Even if Biden is elected if the GOP gets their person in, women’s and lgbt rights will be set back by decades.... |
Don't engage it's a troll. |

Who was that? Those words... those words don’t sound like Trump at all so who the heck was that? |
God, I'd be happy with Merrick Garland again. Any moderate jurist. |
Please name one SCJ who is “psychotic.” We’ll wait. |
Michelle on the SCOTUS would be great. She’s sharp as a tack, a lawyer, and could continue RBG’s legacy. |
Wasn't trolling but now that I think more about it, it would be bad optics. |
Damn. There is some humanity in there somewhere. |
Bonus is that the GOP would lose their collective minds for the next couple of decades. |
I think he was tipped off that it was likely to happen, and told what he had to say. |
Sorry for calling you a troll, but it's a classic troll move. Glad to see you now understand why this would be a bad move. |
Failed bar exam first time. Practiced law a very short time. Not sure if she ever tried a case in a courtroom. No RBG. |
Yes, but she has very little judicial experience and even the legal experience she does have does not really apply. The confirmation hearings would be very, very ugly and I doubt she would want to go through that, let alone want the job. She has been adamant in the past about wanting to stay out of politics and I can't imagine that a rigorous job as a supreme court justice would be any more appealing. There are several black women jurists that are significantly more qualified and would be far better and far less controversial picks. |
