ROFL. Yes, they are bigger. Hence more talent. It’s amazing how statistics seem to work that way. You forgot NY/PA/NJ. They are in there too. SMDH. |
This is the third post I’ve seen mentioning OL Reign. What’s the big deal? Barcelona has an academy in the US and it’s a joke. GPS has a Bayern Munich partnership and they’re mediocre. Isn’t it just a marketing ploy? |
+1000 and the following: FCV, Arlington and MU would join ECNL in a second if they were invited. I am not an ECNL parent and I know it. GA is a tier below ECNL no matter how you want to look at it. |
I am a GA parent at Arlington with a HS aged DD and I agree. It was really disappointing to not get ECNL for the girls. But it also doesn’t make sense for my DD to try to break into an ECNL team this year, so we’re making due and seeing what happens. Planning for lots and lots of ID camps once those start again. |
I was on the SoCal forum and there is a similar debate raging in their region between leagues and clubs and their ECNL backers keep pointing out the strength of ECNL because Loudoun is in ECNL. True story. |
| At this point, it seems like FCV is hoping for Loudoun to go under this fall financially and they stand to reap the benefits as a result-including a possible “in” For the ECNL league. |
loudoun parents are extra special.
|
Lmao. Why would you care if you aren’t an ECNL parent. Who hurt you? Bless your little heart |
You assume Loudoun is the only giant ECNL club in financial trouble. You assume Northwest and Southwest and Midwest parents will still be able to afford plane trips for nearly every away game. |
I don’t see top European clubs affiliating themselves with ECNL teams. |
Because my DD was looking at both the ECNL and DA. HS was always an issue for her so she ruled out DA. When DA folded and we revisited, we did the analysis above. GA is clearly the best non-ECNL league but let's not pretend that it is on the same level as ECNL. It is not. |
Ok mom. |
Worry more about the quality of the team than the league. |
And that is why GA was formed? Go away! |
Ummm, you’re the one in a GA thread |
