This is exactly what drives me crazy. Her size should not be celebrated.

How is it being celebrated? Fat people exist. This one, Chrissy Metz, is on a television show. You watch the show, so you see her. Does merely looking at her offend you?

She doesn't offend me at all. When I see her, I think the same thing as when I see someone who's skeletally thin and wonder about it with empathy.

Jennifer Morrison is playing Cassidy in such an unlikeable way. I find myself rooting for charming, charismatic Kevin to find somebody other than Cassidy.

I agree--I see nothing likeable about her. But, I think Kevin is so used to women fawning over him and doing whatever he asks and Cassidy is clearly not that person. I think it challenges Kevin and, deep down, I think he wants a partner who isn't afraid to give it back to him.

I agree. And didn't she say that she wanted to stay with her husband, but it probably wasn't going to happen. I don't see chemistry between Kevin and Cassidy. Though I didn't like him with Zoe either. Hmmm...maybe he should just be with me. Agree completely! There’s no chemistry between them at all. It would be nice if maybe the writers surprise us and have them develop a deep friendship rather than a romantic relationship. Maybe he helps her get back together with her husband.

I think the boyfriend Marc kills himself. I remember earlier in the show when Toby was depressed and Kate was very worried about him committing suicide, so much so that a common theory was that maybe that’s how jack died and she was personally traumatized by suicide at some point in her life.

I don't think that's it. I haven't seen or heard any suggestion about Jack committing suicide. That doesn't really make any sense to me. He would have never done that to his family, and he wasn't depressed at the time of the fire. He died from the fire because of his superhero devotion to his family and running in to save the dog and family heirlooms.

Also, she seemed surprised by the photo, like she had forgotten about Marc. If she had lingering issues from his suicide that came up again with Toby, Marc wouldn't have been such a distant memory.

I think he's going to be abusive/stalker-ish. He invited himself over, looked up her address from her job app, insisted he was her boyfriend after she said he was her friend. All small things but would look like red flags in hindsight if he turns out to be controlling and abusive. Plus Kate is in a very vulnerable place, probably longing for affection and attention but without her protective dad or clued in mother to see what's happening.
