I don’t watch it. Can’t handle the violence and graphic scenes.

I tired a full season of it and couldn't get into it. Granted, I was recovering from surgery, so was out of it...but it just didn't draw me in.

I loved Vikings until they had to kill of Ragnar. I don't mind dark and violent, but I just didn't get into GOT. I also hated the movie Gladiator and I watched it 3 times hoping I would like it. Visually stunning, but I did not feel much outside of that.

Couldn't stand it when people justified the violence. One person told me that's just how it was back then. Back when? When dragons and sorcerers and dead soldiers roamed the kingdoms?

I get kids and teenagers being in the other franchises (Harry Potter, Hunger Games, etc) but grown men and women? C'mon.

Someone might be able to technically eke out an hour per week to watch a show that’s somewhere on their mental watch list, but prioritize other things. You prioritize GoT, they don’t. Nothing weird about that, and it doesn’t make them liars.

That's literally exactly what I said. But the "I'm too busy to watch" is just such an obnoxious response and totally out of context. You're not too busy, you don't want to watch. That's fine. People who complain about how busy they are constantly are annoying.

I don’t think it’s weird for adults to like the show (or any show.) What I think is weird is adults who buy show swag - T-shirt’s, drinking glasses, socks, wine, Oreos (?!??) That’s just super weird and makes me question your sanity.

I'm with pp. I think it is disturbing that a show with such graphic depictions of rape is so popular and widely accepted now. I think it says something about our culture at the moment, and it's nothing good.

First time watching through the series, I found it confusing with all the characters.

I rewatched it, listening to podcast episodes of "Binge mode" in between. The podcast analyzes the plot, and explains all the connections. After that second time through, I've been hooked on it.

It is not anything close to a central theme of the show, it’s not like it happens every episode or even very season.
