I watch and love it but I don't begrudge anyone who doesn't. But I do find some of the replies here - "I don't have time because of my kids" - a little weird? I mean, even when you're watching it live we're talking about 1 hour per week, for a total of 8 weeks. Spread that out over the year and you have to watch, like, one hour of TV per month to stay caught up. It's fine to say you don't watch it, but don't pretend it's because you're "too busy". That's just not true. You're choosing not to which is fine. I have a fulltime job, parttime grad program, and two young kids and I am SO excited to watch it every Sunday night for the next two months. (the "busy" olympics are a real pet peeve of mine)
Someone might be able to technically eke out an hour per week to watch a show that’s somewhere on their mental watch list, but prioritize other things. You prioritize GoT, they don’t. Nothing weird about that, and it doesn’t make them liars.
That's literally exactly what I said. But the "I'm too busy to watch" is just such an obnoxious response and totally out of context. You're not too busy, you don't want to watch. That's fine. People who complain about how busy they are constantly are annoying.
Agreed
