Here is another thread that is interesting in terms of the responses. The word “abuse” is thrown around a lot. My kids are millennials and I am shocked at some of the ideas they express about family values. They don’t claim to be “abused”, they weren’t. I thought we taught them about unconditional love, our family values and the importance of getting along with people who they don’t like. Their self talk is all about them. It makes me sad because we all know their is no joy in this thinking pattern
