You'd think she would know better than to smoke weed in this digital generation, at a festival where EVERYONE is taking your picture/video. That all being said, I don't think it was that bad.

Puhleeze. I'm sure you've shown more in your string bikini.

Not when I was the daughter of the president of America and knew everything I did would be scrutinized, posted all over the Internet for the rest of my days, mocked, analyzed, etc. But I'm also not saying I don't think she should've done any of. Yes, go out and live your life- why shouldn't any of them get to experience things every other typical teen does?!

Oh, hi Amy, Jenna or Barbara.

Don't forget Chelsea!

Word.

The Bush twins were ten times worse and were WILD. No one really cared.

I don't see anything wrong with these pics, do you people live in caves? Should she be wearing a full length high collar gown and sitting on a pedestal at Lollapalooza rather then being a normal teenager and dancing at a concert?

They weren't "worse" .. They just got caught more than Malia has been. They were also freshmen in college when they had their citations for drinking. Big difference

Of course she should act like a normal teenager. But why are you all giving her a pass on smoking weed just to be a normal teen?

What do you propose? Jail?

michael phelps had to apologize and talk at schools why does she get a free pass

i thought the same. shorts and top are doing zero for her figure.

I felt worse for her than for Malia. Who wants to have photos of your muffin top distributed round the world?

Yup...she's trying to do the high-waisted trend with a regular pair of cutoffs pulled up too high and held in place with a too-tight belt. That being said, I've seen this look done way worse that that.

My daughter is 19. She does not act like this.

Until then, STFU. She worked most of the summer, will probably intern next year, then hit the books at Harvard. She took a week off to cut loose, dance to the music, take one hit from a joint (or so it is alleged) and cut loose.

We should all be lucky to have "problem kids" like her.

She got all that on her own. OLOLOL

its been a loong time since i was 19 and i don't have a daughter or know yours but i would never be so naive to think my kid isn't dancing/dressing provocatively, hitting a bong/bottle with friends. that's dangerous.

What about all the kids who don't behave that way?

+1

SO many kids that age do NOT dress that way or behave that way. I was a kid like that. So were my friends. The "popular" girls dressed and acted like that. Its dangerous to normalize unhealthy and unseemingly behavior among the young.

Cool is highly over-rated. She has pretty going for her.

Not necessarily. Some kids are good at hiding things, even from their own families.
