To all those who are saying Malia Obama is 19 she is not. She turned 18 on July 4th of this year. She was born in 1998, which makes her 18. I think she should smoke anything given the health risks but, it is sad that she can't have any privacy.

I'm 52 years old and a mother. I remember being 18 and she is behaving like a normal 18 yo. What's unfortunate is now we have cameras everywhere and this stuff gets out. For better or for worse.....

Well, at Sidwell she's been around smart, hardworking kids from across the globe. Maybes she's focused on that, and a kind, fun personality, rather than skin color. Go figure.

Trust me when I say I don't care what color or religion she chooses to date or marry but in certain segments of the black community, children of black elite dating inter-racially is frowned upon. It's considered to be "dispersing of black wealth"; I'm sure similar sentiments are found in Jewish communities. It's deep and complex and I don't have time for that convo today.
