This is a matter for her mom to sort out/ discuss with her (if she so chooses-- but Michelle Obama certainly has the reputation of being a strict parent).

She was elected to nothing, and even if she took a toke and reworked, hurt no one (except arguably herself). I fail to see why anyone except her parents should give a sh@t.

Bush girls also did minor acting out at this age, and I felt the same. Nothing but sympathy for a kid who has to spend their teenage years with everyone watching & videotaping them.

Not really. One of the Bush twins was cited for underage drinking. 80% of people shrugged and went on with their lives. (Including me, a strong Democrat-- kids drink Underage. I certainly did. And No one elected them to anything...)

I agree. The only people who should care about this are her parents. The Obama girls have been good kids in difficult circumstances. It can't be easy having that kind of scrutiny during your tween years. They seem to be perfectly nice girls. Who has the bandwidth to judge how they dance at a concert?
