Son left in same pull-up all day in daycare

Why is the child in a pull up? If they are PT, then, child may have been put on the toilet several times and then had an accident.

That makes way more sense then a daycare neglecting to change a child throughout the day.

+1 those mean posters should hope that kind of neglect never happens to their child. What tools they are.

At pickup he was soaking wet again and had on the initiated pull-up. I immediately went to the Director (who I didn't talk to at drop off because she was at an appointment) showed her the photo of the pull-up I took this morning and she saw his pants. Told her I am removing him immediately and will be contacting licensing.

I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate the rational and reasonable advice I received. To people like the pp calling my son mute, I hope you rot in hell and you probably work at my sons daycare. No living being (animal, child, elderly) should be treated like this ever and there is absolutely no rationale for this.

This is again a very "coveted" accredited center in a close in suburb in nova. I was planning on sending the twins there until now obviously, so this isn't me just being picky- I'm the one who loses because now I have to find a daycare for my three kids and hire a nanny in the meantime.

I understand you're upset, but it still isn't quite clear to me that he was sitting in filth all day, like you claim. How long has your DS been at this daycare? My son had a real problem withholding when he was in turmoil (e.g., transition to a new classroom). When he was 3 and moved up to the preschool class, it took WEEKS for us to realize that he was holding his pee in the ENTIRE day. Like 10 hours. Because they would take them to the potty, but they weren't bothering to make sure he had gone pee because he was dry every time. It could be that the daycare was treating it like underwear and taking him to the potty all day, but he held it in because he's stressed out/uncertain. Then when you showed up to take him home, both days, he relaxed because mom is there, and everything all came out at once.

Likely it was the same pull up from the am because he had been using the bathroom and then he shit himself right before mom got there.

He is 3 not 2. Maybe the mom should think about potty training her preschooler

When my kid was potty training, he would come home and poop in his underwear after managing at daycare all day. It was just his internal clock and, I'm guessing, feeling more comfortable at home.

The OP has burned that bridge, but if I were her, I'd have asked daycare to make sure he peed before and after naptime. It's entirely possible that they were leaving him in a wet pullup all day, but it's also possible that he wasn't actually delivering the goods and was then having an accident.

Please update us, OP, on what you did.

Any way OP can tell us more about the daycare in question here? Have similar concerns about my child. For example is this a center located in a hospital?

We're in a facility in Nova that is highly accredited as well. The 2-3's room starts potty training, but the kids at our place wear underwear as soon as they start training, not pull ups.

You're also neglecting to tell us if the morning pull up was wet at drop off or bone dry? If it was dry, then you maybe should ask the teachers in the afternoon to take your child to the bathroom sooner, because it would look like he can't hold it as long.

Wishing you the best.
