OP where are you? Tell us what happened upon returning the mute 3 year old back to daycare?

This is OP. It happened again today- how do I know? Because I put his initials on the back of the pull-up with a sharpie before I dropped him off. At pickup he was soaking wet again and had on the initiated pull-up. I immediately went to the Director (who I didn't talk to at drop off because she was at an appointment) showed her the photo of the pull-up I took this morning and she saw his pants. Told her I am removing him immediately and will be contacting licensing.

I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate the rational and reasonable advice I received. To people like the pp calling my son mute, I hope you rot in hell and you probably work at my sons daycare. No living being (animal, child, elderly) should be treated like this ever and there is absolutely no rationale for this.

This is again a very "coveted" accredited center in a close in suburb in nova. I was planning on sending the twins there until now obviously, so this isn't me just being picky- I'm the one who loses because now I have to find a daycare for my three kids and hire a nanny in the meantime.

Did he have a rash?

What was the director's explanation?

For the betterment of the moms who read this could you identify the center?

Name the location, please.

Whether or not you agree with her actions, the point is that she is here asking for advice about how to approach the school. Not about whether or not you think she acted the right way. And you all know as little as she does about what really happened, so stop assuming. If you don't want to actually answer her question, please just don't reply!

Please, DCUM, let's all start to be a bit more supportive of one another. This is supposed to be a community where we can help each other. If we only use it to tear one another down nobody gets anything out of it.

Oh, bother.

Why eye roll??? The PP is actual human!

OP I'd pull him out too. No child should be neglected like that when you pay so much for daycare. I feel bad for you. If this happened at my place I'd be heartbroken about having to find someplace new.

But wait OP I don't understand -- how do you know that they weren't using the initialed pull-up like underwear and then he had one accident at the end of the day, as others have suggested? Did you ask your son, or his teachers?

Because this is DCUM where everyone fills in the blanks with their most judgemental thoughts and can't pass up an opportunity to blame the victim.

Wait - so you didn't give them a chance to explain or try to rectify things?

Nor did she even ask her child what happened!

So the OPs child just happened to have a huge blowout at the exact same time two days in a row?

That makes way more sense then a daycare neglecting to change a child throughout the day.
