Because who wants to be with a weak, indecisive beta? That's what this guy's sounds like. Not attractive. Not a catch.

I'm confused. How can he suggest concrete plans if she's never available?

Anonymous wrote:Really, OP?

Are you for real with this shit?

You've been a total bitch to this guy, who likes you and you want to complain about his response when all you've done is blow him off when he's tried to plan dates with you.

You're 31. Same age as I am. If you want a serious relationship with a guy , and possibly marriage you need to grow the hell up!
You are behaving like you are 13 not 31.

- A 31 year old woman.

And you also sound like a bitch. OP already admitted that she was a bitch to him why say it again? For 31 you don't comprehend very well. She said she got out of an 8 year relationship and enjoyed being single so why are you trying to shove a relationship, especially marriage down her throat?

Not everyone is eager to settle down. To be honest it's probably best if she doesn't jump back into a serious relationship right now anyways.

Stop with this ageism bullshit. If you want to play it that way you sound like a boring stuck up wet blanket. Are you sure you're just 31? You sound more like an old bitch.

-A 42 year old woman.

I would think by 42 you would understand the meaning and use of the word "if"

I would also think you would understand how to be a decent human. If she's not really into him she should let him know and stop playing silly games and looking for a reason to be nasty to him.

I'm not going to cosign OP"s behavior because she's female. OP came here wanting to trash a guy and it turns out her behavior is what is appalling.

If you think the way she is acting is ok, just because she got out of a LTR then you need to grow up as well.

And I would think by 31 you would know that people make mistakes. She obviously recognized her behavior as being less than desirable. I'm guessing you're so perfect that you've never treated someone poorly? How did she trash by saying she was confused?

I didn't say her behavior was okay. What I am saying is no need to say she was acting like a bitch. She already said it. No need to throw age in her face. We've got it already. She made a mistake. Glad you're still young. Use the time to learn empathy.

So she already sad t. 'm not telling her anything she doesn't already know. I'm not interested in playing the typical female game of " No Sarah. You aren't that bad." That doesn't help Sarah at all.

As for empathy I have plenty just not for people who actively treat other people like shit and then wonder why that person is less than enthusiastic about them.

You probably also have empathy for abusers as well.

Neither one of you sounds very good at communication, OP. How about just saying specifically when you're free and how about he specifically suggests a time to get together? How hard is this? If you cannot even negotiate something so simple, what hope is there for a relationship?

Unless DW is an ice princess. Then he'd be lucky as women are more likely to have sex now.

You can't say that you don't know how much he makes.

Obviously he is a beta. A real man would just show up at her home and take her out.

That man ain't real. He is a stalker.

Frankly, I don't see why the dude keeps in touch. I guess he's not good at reading OP's subtle signals. She's obviously not interested. A real man would walk away and never looked back.

This! Women are attracted to weak beta males. He should lay done plans, all the decisions and pick her up.

This doesn't sound like normal behavior in response to being turned down (albeit rather softly). It looks rather psychotic when "a real man" shows up to pick her up despite the fact that she clearly stated she was busy. I sure wouldn't make any plans with a person who can't commit to some sort of time slot.

Making generalizations about a person on something like that is silly. It's a moot point, because OP is not feeling it either way. She should be a decent person and move on.

Off topic - but I was watching "Revenge of the Nerds" last night. I was really struck by the scene where Lewis rapes Betty. She's at the kissing booth but is so disgusted by Lewis that she won't even kiss him. Bails out of her kissing booth duties to avoid it. She goes into the fun house after Stan declines her advances. Lewis puts on a mask that makes her think he's Stan, then has sex with her. This would normally be rape or assault but Lewis is so good at sex that instead of being mad, she's now in love with this guy she refused to kiss a few minutes earlier. What. the. Fuck?
