Why should I have to pay for welfare, public schools, Section 8 housing, etc?

But if you want english speaking, anti-abortion, and anti-gay, there should be a good selection of African countries to fit the bill. For instance, Kenya speaks English, outlaws abortion except in the most extreme conditions (similar to Northern Ireland) and puts gay people in prison. You would have to live with black people, but then again you didn't raise that as an issue.

I believe his "prep" refers to prep school. He is in high school.

Offspings are too young to pay if they are school-aged. They will once they grow up. Can't say the same about many Americans I know. They just get by. My ex and half of his family hasn't paid taxes since 2005 and all live off of something.
Immigrants are paying into the system. One just celebrated her/his green card. Yet you don't want them to get anything back. Give us money, but you get nothing? Very American.

Abortion is not illegal in Northern Ireland, and there will likely be gay marriage in the nearish future. Gay marriages performed elsewhere are recognized as civil unions in Northern Ireland already.

Abortion is illegal in the Republic of Ireland, but they have gay marriage.

If you want to move to Russia, more power to you. But the average Russian woman has 6 abortions in her lifetime, and abortion is legal there up to 9 weeks. Also, there is no equivalent to the Hyde Amendment, so abortion is covered by state insurance, so you would be paying for it with your taxes.

Hungary has one of the most liberal abortion laws in the world. That may change, but hasn't yet.

Well, you want to live in a society, I assume, not off the grid. So if you don't want to get robbed and be surroundedby rampant crime, drugs, and murder, I would go ahead and support welfare and schools. I can't believe people are seriously this dumb. Why do you think poor countries with very high income disparity all have giant walls around the wealthy suburbs?

OP - all of those countries have some form of tax.. Hungary's tax especially is very high. And though they may be "conservative" I guarantee they will spend your tax money on something you don't like there as well.

This is the nature of living in a society. If you don't like it, create your own country. You and your like can carve out a special place for yourselves in this world.
