How old were you when you first had sex?

17. We dated for over 5 years and planned marriage. I ran away after college and never saw him again though. I wish him well.

18. Not anymore but we were together for 5 years.

16. Nope not in touch but I've looked him up on Facebook. He's one of those types with everything public, and seems to yammer on quite a bit on there which confirms to me that we would never be right for each other.

I am not impressed. You guys missed out on some good times!

Along with probably a lot of STDs and emotional trauma! I'm not one of them who waited, but I do admire them very much, especially the ones who waited until marriage or at least until the one they ended up marrying. There's something special about giving yourself completely to each other and nobody else.

LOL get real Pollyanna. STDs wash off. A weird, sweaty, nervous, half limp10 second exchange on your wedding night does not.

OP here.
Why is there always one who has to derail these threads?

Why does it bother you so much when someone decided to have sex? If they are happy what's it to you?

Because insecure people have to make other people smaller to feel better about their own choices.

Nah it's takes a lot of guys to find sexual compatibility.

You forgot to add "for me". "Nah for me it takes a lot of guys to find sexual compatibility" Not everyone is you, has your same experience, your same wants, needs or desires.

6. No, I thankfully haven't seen him --or my mother, who is still married to him -- since I was 12.5.

23, and no. I do know where he is and what he's doing, though.

You can't be that religious if you had sex outside of marriage

16. Still together 15 years later.

Yikes, sorry to hear this.

30, and yes, I'm talking to him right now on the couch. He's my DH. Yes, I was a bit religious and took myself too seriously. As for STDs, I made my DH take an STD test before we did anything. I would've been pissed if I waited this long only to get STDs.

15, and he was my first kiss a few years before that. No regrets. No longer in touch

I'm so sorry PP for you and the previous poster who said 9. It's heart breaking.

18. He hates me know since I cheated on him in college. Still have mutual friends. I'm 38.
