They need to relocate to CCP China to avoid Maga completely. |
| I don't ask my kid the race of her friends. But I can tell from pics she has shared that two of her good friends appear to be black. Her first year roommate was too. She goes to Smith College. |

Reading r/AsianParentStories on Reddit, it feels like a lot of second-gen Asian kids end up going NC with their immigrant parents. Not sure if that group is actually the root cause 🙂 Just wild guess. |
| Most schools where academics play a significant part in admissions and they offer generous financial aid, tend to be diverse. However, Brown, Rice, UC Berkeley, Hopkins etc are very diverse and student groups reflect that. |
Yes they are they just hide it or you are in theater go talk to the sports teams. |
So not diverse all the same. |
| This question is strange. Do parents even tell their kids their career choices are based on diversity? And do you seriously think four years of college will change much, whether diversity is present or not? If a child has learned to adapt since childhood, they’ll likely succeed anywhere—including in the workplace. |
I do tell them they will be wiser if they can have diverse viewpoints to draw from. Diversity obviously makes the world a better place. Could you imagine if we only had American food to choose from, or 1 type of music or art... come one. it's not complicated. |
I think diversity matters more in certain careers. Not so much in engineering, but possibly more in education, business and communication. |
It works both ways. Those people who you stereotyped into professions are probably not thinking they are going to be friends with OP who is paying them. |
Because the immigrant parents are Maga? |
It’s funny when white people ask this question. |
It depends. In my opinion, some countries are better off remaining homogeneous—it’s culture-based. |
“Hispanic” is anachronistic. And I am going to need you to use Latinx instead; it’s more inclusive. |
