if he continues to travel south, he might end up at Georgia Tech |

Both next-door neighbors are in.
W school MCPS No major EC's Full pay |
| This is so shady--Michigan took many kids' ED chance and then deferred them en masse. I would not be happy if it was my kid. 😡 |
I think this is stinging for sure. I feel for these kids and hope they end up where they are supposed to be. Also, I am thinking ED seems like it’s becoming less and less of a bump if you are simply a smart kid and don’t have an actual hook (not just full pay). |
| From DC’s school, about 10 kids (out of around 100) applied ED to Michigan. Looks like they were all deferred. I don’t think the school will be a popular ED choice next year! |
Full pay? |
| All deferred at my kid’s DC private school as well. What a waste of an ED. |
Everyone out of state is full pay. They don’t give financial aid to oos applicants. |
All out of state are full pay for the 100th time. |
yes, OOS full pay |
I’m sorry. They should be in in-state. Sounds similar to some uva nova kids. |
Why do you say that - just based on your network and stuff you see online? This is no different than recent years. Kids are rejected ED. |
Are both you and next door neighbor full pay? |
That is not exactly correct. UMich does give aid to low income out of state students (as does UVA). It's possible that they have been less generous the last couple of years. |
