Why is it so hard to meet moderate women?

Not sure. But when I see "not political" in a guy's bio or they tell me such, well, that is my sign to say goodbye.

That is so narrow minded. Good poster child for your party I suppose.

Cry more.

Sure narrow minded in the way George Washington was narrow minded.

What's so special about tolerating the anti Constitution group?
Good for her, saves herself a lot of trouble

Thinks abortion is clearly wrong.
Doesn’t like Trump at all and hates the hypocrisy of the administration.
Is OK with people having guns but still sees them as a massive problem in our country that we need to do something about.
Thinks it’s OK to challenge and question widely accepted science instead of taking everything we’re told as dogma.
Prefers a strong border and tough on crime mentality.
Thinks we should love everyone including LGBT community; yes gay people should be able to get married.
Climate change is a serious problem.
Belief in God / higher power.
Need to cut the deficit somehow and find a more fiscally responsible path.

We’ve just been too polarized to toe the party line on everything instead of viewing everything with nuance. So it’s a challenge when it comes to finding the right partner in dating.
Interesting mix of things. I do not believe I have met someone who would agree on all of the above. I also would not describe the above as “moderate” - it’s just a weird mix mash of things.

OP the answer to your question it’s hard to meet them because men have been radicalizing the last few years. It’s a turn off to a lot of women, so they just no longer want to engage. The juice anti worth the squeeze.

It’s an odd phenomenon because men want to have their cake and eat it too. They want to erode women’s rights and at the same time have them in bed. It doesn’t work like that.

Yes. Averaging together a bunch of non-moderate views doesn't equal being a moderate. It equals being confused.

It sounds like what's he's looking for is a rural Catholic or Evangelical who's not that dogmatic aside from abortion and is outdoorsy. So maybe move away from DC?

As always if you're not attracting the person you want the problem is you.

OP, are you behaving in ways a moderate woman would like (no excessive drinking!), and holding moderate views yourself?

Moderate women often prefer to SAHM at least for the baby and toddler years. Are you earning enough to make that possible? Because if you're going to want her to work full-time but also do traditional gender roles at home, that's not a very good deal for her.

OP,

You are self-sabotaging.

You need to accept you want a very conservative/religious person who believes abortion is wrong. By definition this position eliminates most women, even a lot of Republican women.

That’s always what I wonder about the anti abortion crowd while dating. So they are going to hold off on sex until you’d be willing to have a child together? Seems like that a no for most DCUM posters.

Anti abortion doesn't have anything to do with abstinence.

Here's are examples of moderate opinions. I think many women qualify:

Believes MAGAs and Antifas are both idiotic, or at least too extreme.

Believes police protect people but sometimes use excessive force and sometimes arrest innocent people.

Believes in taxing wealthy people at higher rates than poor people but believe in capitalism.

Believes in enforcing limits on immigration but opposes masked ICE agents intimidating, scaring and beating brown people who are good neighbors and contributing to society.

Nah, I rather let the elections speak for me.

Nobody is a moderate anymore. That's a problem in society. It's too bad. I hope things change in the future.
