Hyperbole, much?
Also, Trump win the popular vote as well. Your whining about the electoral college doesn’t help your argument because he didn’t need it. He would’ve been elected without it.

Trump did not win the majority of the popular vote. He only won a plurality, 49.8%, meaning most people who voted did not vote for him.

Moreover, he received votes from only 77 million people, meaning a mere 32% of eligible voters cast a ballot for him. If you consider the entire U.S. population, only 23% of people voted for him.

So, yes, a minority of people voted for Trump. Deal with it.

No one said he won a majority. He did what you admit win the popular vote. A lesser minority voted for your girl.

Yes, and most people didn’t vote for him and did not want him to be president. Why is that so triggering for you to admit?

So you admit again that he won the popular vote. More than the other candidates. Why is that so triggering for you to admit?

I have never contested that he won the popular vote. But you still refuse to accept that most people who voted didn’t vote for him and wanted a different candidate to win.

Not the pp, but you don’t have a point. He won the popular vote by over 2 million more votes than his opponent. It doesn’t matter if it’s plurality or majority. He won.

This conversation began because PP was mad that someone dare say a minority of people wanted the Trump presidency. But it’s a fact that only a minority of people wanted him to be president.

No, the conversation began because some tried to argue that he didn’t win popular vote by implying that it needed to be won by a majority rather than a plurality which is obviously wrong. Someone said he won the popular vote and another argued back that it was a plurality as if to say he didn’t win it.

No one argued he didn’t win the popular vote. Reread the thread. This began because someone (probably you) got pissy when it was pointed out that only a minority of people wanted Trump.

I have never contested that he won the popular vote. But you still refuse to accept that most people who voted didn’t vote for him and wanted a different candidate to win.

You refuse to accept that most people who voted chose Trump over Harris.

I don’t refuse to accept that. I’ve said it several times. Why do you keep bringing up Harris? She is irrelevant in this conversation.

Trump did not win majority of the popular vote. That is a fact. It means most people did not vote for him and did not want him to be president.

You’re being intentionally obtuse simply bc you don’t like him. He won and you can’t admit it. The fact is he was wanted by millions more than Harris or anyone else.

I have never, at any point in this thread, said that he did not win the election. (Unlike the president himself, who refuses to admit that he did not win in 2020.) But most people voted for someone else in 2024. That is a fact. It means something. He does not have a sweeping mandate to do anything.

So you are basically saying that Trump is ensuring the troops getting paid.

Wrong, the implication was that he lost the popular vote because it was only by a plurality. You know that was your intention in saying this.

Why didn’t presumably you say that an even lesser number of people voted for Kamala? If not to deceive.

What does she have to do with whether only a minority of people voted for Trump? It’s true. Most people didn’t vote for him. They voted for someone else. He is not popular.

So unpopular that he won.

Yes, he won despite most people not voting for him and not wanting him to be president. When more than half of people go out of their way to say they do not want something, it is unpopular.

It’s literally unconstitutional.

Congress has declined to assert its Article I authorities around spending, so I guess nothing matters anymore. Trump is our King, because a minority of people want that and the Electoral College allows them to decide.

He won.

Wrong, the implication was that he lost the popular vote because it was only by a plurality. You know that was your intention in saying this.

That was never the implication, and I’ve said repeatedly that he won the popular vote despite most people voting for someone else. Do you have TDS?

Who is this “most people” who should be president? That’s what you are saying.

50.2% who voted in the 2024 election voted for someone other than Trump to be president. Therefore “most people” did not vote for Trump.

Trump is our President. Thank God.

And yet most people don’t agree with you.
