Fake lashes, dragon nails, pushups… do men actually like this look?

Whatever class markers you perceive on these features, they indicate an interest in being perceived as strongly feminine and hewing closely to “traditional” gender norms. It’s like the gender equivalent of a dog rolling on its back and showing you its belly: I’ll be a sexy baby for you and not give you problems. That’s why in subcultures with a lot of machismo these same things are popular. It’s all to make men more comfortable.

The struggle narrative continues unabated.

He is f——ng a woman he finds hot. I love Mackenzie Scott, she is incredibly smart and pretty. But here in the space of this mess of a Beauty board, lemme say I’m not surprised he finds his new wife more sexually and physically appealing.

Yes dear, we know he finds his wife “hot.” But why? Why is that the type of woman he went for?

It’s always a thrill to watch a not-quite nerd like you try to find purchase for her misogyny. Hope you can one day like what you see reflected in the mirror.

lol ok

Yes, the mates they are seeking to find it attractive. Why on earth would you care?

Why would he not? To him, she is hot. Most men with billions of dollars want a hot woman on their arm and in their bed. As a woman, if I had billions (or millions) of dollars I’d want the same.

seriously?

This person is lying. Any self respecting fake mole wearing woman would know how to place a fake mole on their face. You use eyeliner not some press on to the face. So just stop with the lying.

great examples ... nobody is looking to any of these ladies for what is attractive.

Bad examples. None of these women flaunt the look op is trying to denigrate. Oprah is very attractive and relatively fashionable for her age. Michelle may have an eclectic fashion style, but also attractive. Gail King isn’t my cup of tea, but looking at pictures of her, her look is not offensively unattractive. She just needs better wigs.

Really sad that the only women named in this thread are African American (other than Lauren Bezos, who I mentioned first) women who are extremely wealthy and extremely intelligent by any stretch of the imagination.

Why didn’t any of you bring up Dolly Parton (who I love), but is the poster child of who OP is trying to demean? Or Priyanka Chopra Jonas? Megan Moroney

Each to their own OP. 90% of women in dc area do not care what they look like as this is lower physically attractive people area than many parts of the country.

DC is one of the highest educated and median income areas of the country; but fashion and physical beauty it is close to bottom.

It’s true. That’s what I love about this region. Some tinted moisturizer, eyeliner, mascara, and a straightener is all I need to be a DC 8.

Are you the OP? Because it might be time for you to start worrying about you and only you.

Can you read past your judgement?

It's a tacky look

Or, I don't know, places like Paris? Funny how you would call it "plain."

I am not OP but I think it is totally normal to look at people who are going to great lengths to alter their natural appearance and wonder "What's up with that? Does this look good to someone?" It's an anonymous forum and precisely the place to muse on it. It's not like she's insulting people to their faces.

It may not be “low class” but it sure is trashy. It’s hard to even tell what somebody looks like. I can’t imagine those nails getting anywhere near any part of my body. No thanks.

Sounds like you solved your non-issue so there is nothing to worry about anymore.
