Fake lashes, dragon nails, pushups… do men actually like this look?

They look how THEY WANT to look. That's all you need to worry about.

It's some what of a drag queen look, and there do seem to be some guys into that.

OP - I guess what I’m saying is outside of the boobs which I understand, the fake lashes and too much makeup to me just doesn’t look healthy or good. I do wear makeup and I’m sure partner would say I look better with some (the “no makeup look” which is actually still a decent amount of makeup when done well), if he were being honest. But if I showed up in a full face of foundation with baby doll lashes he would find it offputting and not sexy.

I have a hard time believing men actually like this and it’s not just women doing it for themselves and for other women.

Women love to shop and spend money. All this crappy makeup is the equivalent of watching trashy tv but it costs money. From the beginning of time women have wasted time and money doing stupid stuff to themselves in the name of beauty. Think about how many women spend money on their eyebrows. What a joke. They get facials that do nothing, get manicures that make them look cheap, get false eyelashes that make them look weird and on and on. Men do not care about one bit of this.

A fool and their money soon part!

+1 Take a good look at who they are marketing to and ask yourself why?

How in the minority is he? One of the women with this look is a politician’s wife so I assume she could afford more natural looking procedures if she wanted to. Do women really just like it and do their husbands like it too?

Where do you live? Women with money don't look like that.

Why did you use only black eomen as example? Also these women don’t wear “dragon nails” or do any of this to a tacky extent. They are made up to a level expected for a tv appearance.
Is it not true?

No it is not true. The black women you used as examples are not known for dressing in a lower class or trashy manner. You’re a racist aren’t you?

Whatever class markers you perceive on these features, they indicate an interest in being perceived as strongly feminine and hewing closely to “traditional” gender norms. It’s like the gender equivalent of a dog rolling on its back and showing you its belly: I’ll be a sexy baby for you and not give you problems. That’s why in subcultures with a lot of machismo these same things are popular. It’s all to make men more comfortable.

Whatever you think of Lauren Sanchez, it's a foregone conclusion that Bezos does not see her as docile as this has never been her public image. She's like an opposite of docile.

This. There are a few men out there who like "women a little on the trashy side." It used to be a popular country song decades ago.

Most men don't go for the mar a largo plastic surgery face with fake hair, fake nails and fake eyelashes.

I don’t know if I would describe it as “docile” or more “aged sexy kitten”

I know DH hates the big lashes because the last wedding I was in the makeup artist put them on me and I sent him a picture before I asked her to take them off. He was NOT a fan of them.

I've always had shortish almond type nails and I don't think he has much of an opinion. I'm lucky that I don't have wrinkles yet, but at 39 I've been toying with the idea of Botox. DH thinks it's stupid (but said it's up to me) so overall I think he's more of a natural type person than all made up.

This. Either end of the spectrum has fans but most people land in the vast middle ground.

I mean, don’t you think most women prefer a medium in men —- fit and groomed versus extreme ends of the spectrum, which maybe for males would be like bodybuilder on one side and absolutely no interest in his appearance on the other side?

Honestly most men don't even notice what women are doing. If they are willing to put out, that's all that matters.
