+1,000 This. |
seriously? |

You just posted about this a few months ago. |
| Like tattoos and piercings. It is intended to signal and attract a type. |
Or the people who choose to get those just really like them and DGAF who likes them and who doesn't. |
Eh, check the finstas and OF accounts of “upper class” men, you might be surprised. |
OP - I guess what I’m saying is outside of the boobs which I understand, the fake lashes and too much makeup to me just doesn’t look healthy or good. I do wear makeup and I’m sure partner would say I look better with some (the “no makeup look” which is actually still a decent amount of makeup when done well), if he were being honest. But if I showed up in a full face of foundation with baby doll lashes he would find it offputting and not sexy. I have a hard time believing men actually like this and it’s not just women doing it for themselves and for other women. |
+1 Over 90% of OF consumers are married men. They clearly like this look and are paying $$$ to support it. |
Probably men who grew up around similar fashion sense but not sensible men. |
I have a hard time figuring out why you care what other people look like. You already said it was not for you or your partner, but it still perplexes you about why other people do it or that they could find it attractive. Is it because deep down you're insecure and question your style choices? |
All three are accomplished, privileged and wealthy women but they don't have style sense. |
| They seem to follow opinion of young stylists or follow random trends. |
| After Mrs Kennedy, Mrs Trump is the only one with some fashion sense and elegant style but came here as an immigrant adult and didn't get college education, she does great. |
| Educated Gen Z doesn't do fake lashes, nails, hair extensions, butt pads, wired silicone bras etc. |
