Can a man's cheating turn a woman gay?

So can men really make a woman want to date other women?

No she's crazy. She didn't have a normal life and has no concept of what a normal life is.

They are selfish, liars, cheaters, manipulators, think poorly of women, and many need therapy but don’t get it. I’m over it. I’m now exploring dating women as a result.

It's the male lack of emotional connection that has me bi curious. I'm not sure how to pursue it without saying I'm gay. It would be nice to meet someone who is attractive and also bi curious so we can see what it's like.

Women have plenty of emotional problems. You could also consider the possibility the kind of emotional connection you want can exist with (female) friends and doesn't have to be linked to sex. Frankly, the broad empowerment of women societally has been terrible for relationships because women insisted that their relationships with men would have to fill every need. That's totally unrealistic. Women used to understand this better. It's possible for women now to have more agency - more economic, political, and domestic power - while still understanding that the marital relationship needn't fill every need. We would all be better off with that.

Op here. I admire some women for their beauty as well as some men but I don't want anything sexual with the women. I don't think most women are naturally bi.

I don't know how old you are, and I'm not particularly interested in being sexual with women, either, but I think you aren't giving the younger generation enough thought - young adults, those rising through HS and college and early 20s right now are a LOT more open, sexually, than you yourself may be. Yes, I do know some young women who date men - but mostly I the young women I know date both men and women. Or just women.

I'm not interested in going down on a woman at all, but is that just socialization? Because why in my right mind am I willing to go down on a man? I mean, come on.

Heterosexual men aren’t all that interested in cunnilingus, either…

You are crazy… love eating p

You are a sample size of one.

As are you, PP. As are you.

I met a woman a couple of years ago. She was a widow. Probably in her mid-late-70s. Just found a woman and was dating and definitely being a lesbian. She was SO open about it. She did some googling - eye opening for sure!! LOL.

I don't believe men can "make" a woman a lesbian. That's just silly. But if you are anywhere on the continuum other than 1 or 100, that means you might have a spark of interest in men or women (when you thought you liked women or men exclusively).

You don't ever have to act on it. You don't ever have to "DO" any thing except maybe think, oh, she/he/they are hot. Or you might. It probably depends upon circumstances, where you are in life.

And as you age you can become more open and flexible and accepting of life's wonders (and be open to a same sex encounter) or you become a curmudgeon.

Your choice on how you handle change and the variety of sexuality and sensuality within you.
