Can a man's cheating turn a woman gay?

Anonymous
Curious because I saw that raven from that's so raven claim that she started dating woman after a man her ex-boyfriend cheated and made another woman pregnant and a man is interested in me that had cheated on his ex-wife with a married woman while he was married himself and she later started dating woman after their divorce. So can men really make a woman want to date other women?

Doubtful. Most women are naturally bi. She probably just got bored and moved on to whatever was available.

Not cheating. Maybe abuse.

Op here. I admire some women for their beauty as well as some men but I don't want anything sexual with the women. I don't think most women are naturally bi.

Agreed. Sounds like a man posted that.

I would wager that the people who start dating women are just already bi. Not that most women are, but those ones were. Good for them for finding what works.

I think a lot of women are along a spectrum of sexuality and the more bad experiences they have with men, the more it will tilt them to the female side of the spectrum.

If she was heteroflexible to start, maybe. A bad relationship + the natural inclination toward women (bi, bi-curious, etc.) + a good relationship/experience with a woman = a new lesbian

🙄 It’s every man’s fantasy- an enthusiastic ménage a trois, which somehow manages to be completely heterosexual and centers him.

Okay, but they wants lipstick lesbians and porno sex- not short hair, basketball shorts and emasculating vibrators.

Ive definitely become scared of men the more I date and am around them. My ex was a closeted gay man and a full fledged liar pretending to be this great family man half the day and a serial cheater the other half. I've also dated and worked with other men who are liars and jerks. The news about dates with men gone wrong is incredibly scary as is dating someone whom you find out later is married. The lying, danger, short term relationship sex, ultra conservative controlling stances, and the insulting comments about women in general and specifically older women have been a huge enough turn off to dating men. I've questioned if I'd be better off dating a woman or getting a robot man as a companion and sex partner. Probably won't do it but if my male dates are going to be jerks, liars, potentially dangerous, money and beauty seeking, and only up for one night stands and some dominating control high and on top of it are likely to reject me for not being youthful I might as well at least consider other options.

I’m heterosexual with zero flexibility about that. I can tell if a woman looks good but it inspires absolutely zero feelings or desires (except perhaps some mild jealousy or the desire to ask who her dermatologist or whatever is).

I’m picky in all relationships so I am going in knowing I’m looking for a needle in a haystack. It has been very worth it, and it’s how I found DH. Some men are awful as are some women. It’s not gender specific.

The question is whether a man's cheating affected who they dated after breaking up with the cheater.
