Somehow Brazil and South Korea dealt with their insurrectionist despots. The ony reason the US didn't is because the GOP it totally corrupted and Trump appointed judges/justices allowed him to delay the legal proceedings to the point that he effectively pardoned himself once back in office. |
By 2023, Biden had gotten crossings down to below trump's 2019 numbers and that is without the legislation needed to really address the issues. |
The 'something that has to happen" is to fund more administrative judges to adjudicate the cases more expediently. The GOP has, 4 times, crafted legislation to do this and 4 times either the sitting GOP president or the counter house of Congress or Trump, tanked the bill. This whole issue is manufactured and propagated by the right to keep the idiot right win voters angry. The surges of migrants (aka "caravans") were manufactured and funded by Russia and the whole thing is a psyop on the American pubic. The Russians did the same things with waves of Syrian refugees in Europe. |
This! He is not just deporting people, he is sending them to a horrible prison. Due process becomes much more important when you are locking people up in a hellhole with no regard for human rights. |
Yes. This is the issue. If he doesn’t think migrants should have a hearing then change the law. Right now he is breaking it. |
Why are MAGA so lazy and demanding?! All you have to do is ask AI. Here’s the answer from Grok: The CBP One app was launched by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in October 2020. Its initial purpose was to streamline interactions for travelers and stakeholders, primarily by allowing commercial trucking companies and brokers to schedule cargo inspections, and for travelers to apply for I-94 forms, check border wait times. In January 2023, the Biden administration expanded its functionality to allow migrants in central and northern Mexico to schedule appointments at southwest border ports of entry for asylum processing, aiming to create a more orderly and humane border management process. This expansion made it the primary method for asylum seekers to request entry at the U.S.-Mexico border by May 2023. The app’s asylum scheduling function was discontinued by the Trump administration on January 20, 2025, and it was relaunched in March 2025 as CBP Home, repurposed to assist with self-deportation of illegal immigrants, among other functions like I-94 applications and cargo inspections. Conclusion: So it was first created in-house during the 1st Trump administration, repurposed for another use under Biden, and repurposed again under Trump 2. Satisfied now? Ps. You need to see someone about your anger issues, especially so early in the morning. |
Article 4 it is the Presidents job to control the borders from invasion. An influx that overwhelms our civilian infrastructure to deal with such can only be construed as an invasion. |
The CBP app and the exceptions for Haitians and the flights etc all helped.bring in more low-skilled third world migrants without them having to walk across the southern border. |
DP. I can assure you that most people’s immigrant forefathers in this country were “low-skilled” and looked upon as undesirable as well. Why don’t you just say you don’t want black and brown people coming here? |
I bet you didn't realize the app was developed under the Trump administration. |
Said invasions were willful to create the optics that keep people like you angry. Do some actual research into WHY these caravans happened, who paid for them and what countries were responsible for them, and then ask, why did Trump undermine efforts in his first administration to stem the tide/causes of the migrations? |
You cannot pick and choose parts of the Constitution. Whether or not the influx of immigrants in 2024 "overwhelmed the civilian infrastructure" is a complex question and extremely debatable: in some areas it did, in many many many others it did not. Is a delay in processing asylum requests "overwhelming the infrastructure"? If it is, it makes no sense to fire the judges who do it and thus overwhelm it more. Besides, we all know that many economists view immigration as a net positive for the U.S. economy, one that boosts the GDP and fills labor shortages. You just can't declare something an "invasion" willy-nilly. This is not done. We are not in Middle School. Let's say the current administration puts together a team of experts that assesses the influx of migrants and decides it is a huge problem, that the negatives outweigh the positives. I may disagree but I have to accept because this is a democracy and he is the boss. I still have the right to protest peacefully and speak out, of course -- and I will -- but I accept. We are more than willing to concede that the president address problems. LEGALLY. Following the rule of law. Respecting the Constitution. I do not accept violating the Constitution I am just going to keep repeating it: I am for the Cosntirution. I am for the rule of law. ARE YOU??? |
Only certain places in the country were overwhelmed. Much of the country benefits from immigrants, whether you want to admit it or not. So the answer would be to improve processes and infrastructure and help those places affected, no? And maybe to work on the reasons people come in the first place? What are they fleeing? Maybe mitigate that (Biden admin worked actively on this...look it up). So how do you feel about the fact that this POTUS and his corrupt DOGE team are dismantling much of our civilian infrastructure, and not even following the law to do so. Mainly so they can get rid of regulations and investigations of their businesses. Do you believe this corruption and lawlessness should be ignored? |
So now the plan is to send US Citizens to foreign gulags...
https://www.axios.com/2025/04/23/trump-immigration-crackdown-us-citizens I can't wait til MAGAs end up in El Salvador. |
Some people mainly thieves argue that there is benefit to be had from theft. Whether what you want to admit it or not what these people benefitting from hiring illegal immigrants is criminal. |
