Trump Says Trials for Migrants "Not Possible"

He does this to an “illegal alien” (but does have to show he’s illegal, because no due process)
So, he does it to someone here legally (who can’t prove they are here legally)
So, he does it to you and says you are here illegally (and you have not opportunity to prove you are a citizen)

We can take Trumps word for the fact everyone is here illegally and deportable. Despite the fact he and his appointees can’t keep reporters off chats that include war plans or keep track of a purse with $3000, a PIV card and a passport. But, let’s go out on a limb here and say he occasionally makes mistakes. Some of those mistakes are legal permanent residents. Some are US citizens. None of them get the chance to challenge anything before they are put on a plane and dumped in CECOT. And when the inevitable mistake happens, as it already has, he says “opppsss. Still leaving them there”.

That’s why you need due process. To prevent US citizens from being dumped into El Salvadoran he11holes with no recourse.

Due process I’d your recourse.

Trump is not right. And if he can’t process the immigrants he wants to deport, he should stop firing immigration judges.

Democrats don't deserve to lecture anyone on what is right. Look at this mess after all.

Indeed. Trump has absolutely destroyed the economy and Americas standing in the world— in 100 days. It is, indeed, a mess.

PS— can’t ignore the Constitution to own the libs. Sorry, not sorry.

I think the argument many conservatives make is that Biden ignored the law by letting them into the country, and in the process ignoring the Constitution ("he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed" Const. Art. II, Sec. 3). So why should they get full Due Process rights to stay when they had no legal right to be here in the first place? The Constitution guarantees certain rights, such as the right to vote and the right to keep and bear arms - so if illegal aliens have Constitutional rights to Due Process, by logical extension, don't they have those as well?

By this logic, we can say that trump had no right to be elected president because he’s an insurrectionist, so nothing he does as president is actually legal and everyone can just ignore everything he does.

Somehow Brazil and South Korea dealt with their insurrectionist despots. The ony reason the US didn't is because the GOP it totally corrupted and Trump appointed judges/justices allowed him to delay the legal proceedings to the point that he effectively pardoned himself once back in office.

By 2023, Biden had gotten crossings down to below trump's 2019 numbers and that is without the legislation needed to really address the issues.

There are an estimated 18.6 million undocumented immigrants in the country and only about 700 immigration judges. That means each judge would be responsible for over 26,500 cases.

Even if a judge could process one case every 3 hours, that’s around 79,000 hours of work per judge. With a full-time schedule of 2,000 hours per year, it would take each judge nearly 40 years to get through their caseload. And that’s assuming no new cases come in, no judges retire, take vacation, or get sick.

Maybe we could try using AI or automation to help deport faster, but let’s be honest, most people would push back on that too. So we’re stuck.

The only realistic path forward is to reset the system. We need to deport those who are here illegally now so we can start fresh. From that point on, anyone who enters can go through the proper court process with manageable timelines.

The Constitution allows flexibility in how non-citizens are processed, especially those who have no legal right to remain. In fact, the government already uses expedited removal for certain categories of undocumented immigrants without full hearings, and that is fully legal under current law. The more people we process quickly and efficiently through these existing methods, the more we can reduce the backlog and restore some functionality to the system.

You can blame every past administration for letting this build up, but something has to happen. We can’t fix immigration until we stop pretending the current system can handle this. We need to start over.

The 'something that has to happen" is to fund more administrative judges to adjudicate the cases more expediently. The GOP has, 4 times, crafted legislation to do this and 4 times either the sitting GOP president or the counter house of Congress or Trump, tanked the bill. This whole issue is manufactured and propagated by the right to keep the idiot right win voters angry. The surges of migrants (aka "caravans") were manufactured and funded by Russia and the whole thing is a psyop on the American pubic. The Russians did the same things with waves of Syrian refugees in Europe.

This! He is not just deporting people, he is sending them to a horrible prison. Due process becomes much more important when you are locking people up in a hellhole with no regard for human rights.

Yes. This is the issue. If he doesn’t think migrants should have a hearing then change the law. Right now he is breaking it.

And it's really such a shame the Biden administration saw fit to open the floodgates to millions of illegal immigrants in the first place. Let's not forget who bussed them all over the country, often in the dead of night. And now the Trump administration is left to clean up this disaster.

Why do you keep repeating these lies? Biden complied with American and International law where asylum is concerned. He asked for and created bi-partisam legislation to deal with the issue more expediently and Trump got the GOP to reject their own legislation. Now he is using that same lack of judges to flaunt US and International law.

And people like you fall for it.

CBP One App was not required under international law. Millions and millions. It was treason. I want to know who decided we should create a phone app to facilitate an invasion of unskilled, unvetted migrants? That person should be tried for treason. Seriously.

You know what, go ahead and accuse "that person" of treason. It is utterly nonsense and you will be laughed at and scolded for wasting people's time, but I applaud you for FINALLY using our existing legal channels. THAT IS ALL WE ARE ASKING.

What was the purpose other than to destabilize America and facilitate her destruction? As it was summarily stopped and deactivates as an App it was clearly not required by any law, so what was the point? And who developed the App and implemented it?

Why are MAGA so lazy and demanding?! All you have to do is ask AI. Here’s the answer from Grok:

The CBP One app was launched by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in October 2020. Its initial purpose was to streamline interactions for travelers and stakeholders, primarily by allowing commercial trucking companies and brokers to schedule cargo inspections, and for travelers to apply for I-94 forms, check border wait times.

In January 2023, the Biden administration expanded its functionality to allow migrants in central and northern Mexico to schedule appointments at southwest border ports of entry for asylum processing, aiming to create a more orderly and humane border management process. This expansion made it the primary method for asylum seekers to request entry at the U.S.-Mexico border by May 2023.

The app’s asylum scheduling function was discontinued by the Trump administration on January 20, 2025, and it was relaunched in March 2025 as CBP Home, repurposed to assist with self-deportation of illegal immigrants, among other functions like I-94 applications and cargo inspections.

Conclusion: So it was first created in-house during the 1st Trump administration, repurposed for another use under Biden, and repurposed again under Trump 2. Satisfied now?

Ps. You need to see someone about your anger issues, especially so early in the morning.

DP. I can assure you that most people’s immigrant forefathers in this country were “low-skilled” and looked upon as undesirable as well. Why don’t you just say you don’t want black and brown people coming here?

Said invasions were willful to create the optics that keep people like you angry. Do some actual research into WHY these caravans happened, who paid for them and what countries were responsible for them, and then ask, why did Trump undermine efforts in his first administration to stem the tide/causes of the migrations?

You cannot pick and choose parts of the Constitution.

Whether or not the influx of immigrants in 2024 "overwhelmed the civilian infrastructure" is a complex question and extremely debatable: in some areas it did, in many many many others it did not. Is a delay in processing asylum requests "overwhelming the infrastructure"? If it is, it makes no sense to fire the judges who do it and thus overwhelm it more. Besides, we all know that many economists view immigration as a net positive for the U.S. economy, one that boosts the GDP and fills labor shortages. You just can't declare something an "invasion" willy-nilly. This is not done. We are not in Middle School.

Let's say the current administration puts together a team of experts that assesses the influx of migrants and decides it is a huge problem, that the negatives outweigh the positives. I may disagree but I have to accept because this is a democracy and he is the boss. I still have the right to protest peacefully and speak out, of course -- and I will -- but I accept.

We are more than willing to concede that the president address problems. LEGALLY. Following the rule of law. Respecting the Constitution.

I do not accept violating the Constitution I am just going to keep repeating it: I am for the Cosntirution. I am for the rule of law. ARE YOU???

Only certain places in the country were overwhelmed. Much of the country benefits from immigrants, whether you want to admit it or not. So the answer would be to improve processes and infrastructure and help those places affected, no? And maybe to work on the reasons people come in the first place? What are they fleeing? Maybe mitigate that (Biden admin worked actively on this...look it up).

So how do you feel about the fact that this POTUS and his corrupt DOGE team are dismantling much of our civilian infrastructure, and not even following the law to do so. Mainly so they can get rid of regulations and investigations of their businesses. Do you believe this corruption and lawlessness should be ignored?

Some people mainly thieves argue that there is benefit to be had from theft. Whether what you want to admit it or not what these people benefitting from hiring illegal immigrants is criminal.
