The more people we process quickly and efficiently through these existing methods, the more we can reduce the backlog and restore some functionality to the system.

The 'something that has to happen" is to fund more administrative judges to adjudicate the cases more expediently. The GOP has, 4 times, crafted legislation to do this and 4 times either the sitting GOP president or the counter house of Congress or Trump, tanked the bill. This whole issue is manufactured and propagated by the right to keep the idiot right win voters angry. The surges of migrants (aka "caravans") were manufactured and funded by Russia and the whole thing is a psyop on the American pubic. The Russians did the same things with waves of Syrian refugees in Europe. [/quote]
