Exactly. I’m not religious, but I respect the fact the Carter actually followed the teachings of Jesus, unlike this horrible bunch of hypocrites that voted for Musk/Trump that call themselves “Christians.”

Yes, it's certainly possible to be a good person without being a Christian.

But Jimmy Carter was indeed a Christian and this faith was a guiding light in his life.

He led bible study every week that he could, and I know several people who attended this.

We would be a better nation if more of Christians, and others, followed his example in caring for their fellow neighbors.
