Unfortunately, I’ve seen evidence that there are people on the extremes on both sides who believe that the people on the other side are bad and evil. The OP is an example of the many on the extreme left who believe that people on the right are bad people and there are those on the right who believe the same about the left.

Personally, I believe that those on both sides who feel this way are ridiculous and somewhat unhinged.

I don’t hate them, I disrespect them. Because his flaws are so egregious and obvious. One can’t even engage in serious debate about whether he should be hired for the most powerful position in our government.

It was not until he came along—and revealed the type of people who were hiding under rocks (or behind tax loopholes)—that I felt this way about those who disagreed with me politically.

I'll tell you a secret. I was a DeSantis supporter. I wish he had won. I think he is an exemplary governor.
But, he didn't. So, I will be supporting Trump because there is no way in hell I could support Kamala and Walz.
One reason is because of the way the whole "nomination" came to be. I don't think the Democratic Party should be rewarded for their antics.
Another reason is I believe Kamala and Walz would do more damage to the country than they would benefit the country. I don't trust their willingness to enforce the southern border given Kamala's past performance and Walz's actions as governor. I don't think they will make a concerted effort to bring down prices because if Kamala truly considered this important she would have done something by now. I also believe that Kamala is a phony - a chameleon - who will say anything she needs to say to get elected. I'm not sure even she believes half of what she says. Hard to know since she has been on both sides of pretty much every issue.
