Nothing sweet? I'd need to at least add monkfruit extract |
Op, I saw a dietitian for my high cholesterol and she advised cutting out animal products and adding soy. I now only eat fish and chicken breast once a week. Definitely swap dark for light chicken, add edamame in foods. I get dry roasted as a snack. |
OP here. I am seeing a nutritionist next week to help with cholesterol issues. |
All women ideally should have 25g of fiber a day at least. It’s not about calories, it’s about what fiber does for your health. |
Yes. Why wouldn’t you just use either the exact amount in grams (if using a scale) or an even measurement if not using a scale. Unless you are taking the grams in a tablespoon and then converting your exact grams of that into a decimal, but WTH |
Bigger and smaller bodies will have different nutritional needs. That is just logical. Weird that you think a 5’0 100 lb woman needs exactly the same nutrition as a 5’9” 175 lb woman. |
This does not apply to fiber. You can Google this easily. It’s 25g for women, 38g for men, daily. |
grab a chopped salad kit and finish one bag per day. stop obsessing with numbers where it doesn't matter. |
Most salad kits only have 7g of fiber for the whole bag (3.5 servings). Not PP, just showing that it's more difficult than just eating your vegetables. |
Chopped salad would have maybe 3g total. Fiber actually DOES MATTER, it has tons of health benefits, that’s why I focus on it. |
Well then, eat 2? |
What is your problem, for real. You’re mad someone cares about … fiber. Go focus on your Wegovy dosage I guess! |
Why pay $40 for fiber supplement when you can get it from real food? I am only watching out for your wallet! |
This is OP. So I finally had a consultation with a nutritionist about my concerns. She said I was on the right track and was doing a fabulous job eating whole, nutrient dense foods. Her only recommendation was to not worry about consumption of healthy carbohydrates. She in fact recommends 40-50% of my calories to come from carbohydrates as they are critical for functioning of the body and cautioned me against trendy high protein diets that wreck havoc on the body. She says I am consuming more than enough proteins for my size and weight and not to worry about. She said since I appear to have metabolic sensitivity to fats and hereditary high cholesterol, to try to limit fat intake to 30-40% of my calories. She said one egg a day with egg whites would be a good strategy and to keep eating high fiber foods to help bring down cholesterol levels.
Overall positive session. ![]() |
