Gen Z not voting and handing a win to criminal Trump

NP. This is what happened when you close schools for two years. You get an uneducated voter pool. Reap what you sow, etc.

And all of these Gen Z kids know which party extended the school closures.

This is true.

Wonder if they’ll wise up if Trump drafts them but it’ll be too late then

Gen z not unique.

+1 Also American presidential elections are never decided on foreign policy.

Gen z is dumb. Just deeply, deeply foolish. The euphemism is "analytically naive". Translation: they don't know how to evaluate evidence and draw conclusions because they think there's no truth anyway. Just "likes" and "followers" and when you get more of those what you believe must be true.

Why not have democrats put up a guy worth getting out of bed to vote for? You come with the absolute laziest argument but want to shame others. We get what we deserve when voting (or not voting).

I get it. So let’s fight to change the system. But until those changes are made, vote for the lesser of two evils.

I can't imagine that being able to have an abortion is your priority.

I can’t imagine being thrown in jail for having a miscarriage. I can’t imagine carrying a fetus to term that has a severely painful and fatal condition. I can’t imagine leaving my children motherless because I was forced to continue a pregnancy that will kill me. I can’t imagine going back to the days of back alley abortions. But can’t imagine a 10 year old rape victim giving birth. I can’t imagine any of this. Yet, here we are.

My 12 year old Gen Z kid won’t be voting. The oldest Gen Z is middle 20’s. Under 25 have always been unreliable voters.

Yes, here we are with forced birthers telling women that their futures, plans and hopes and dreams don’t matter. I encourage everyone to read through
the Turnaway study in which researchers found that women who were denied an abortion that they wanted ended up less educated, poorer and less safe. Judicial activists wiped out a fifty year old precedent due solely to their religious beliefs. Young women aren’t going to be happily voting Republican no matter how many TikToks the GOP pays for about Palestine.

I have 3 Gen Z kids ages 18-23. They will all vote for Biden (I think) when it comes down to it, but they are not happy with him. All because of what they hear on social media about Israel/Palestine. I am at a loss for how to explain his position, his options, and the nuances of the entire situation. they are so brainwashed by sm that I am not sure they are capable of understanding how complex this issue truly is. They are smart kids, but they have fallen into this algorithm and been influenced. I welcome any suggestions.

Yes we must send all these people who watch Israel kill unarmed civilians and are sicken to re education camps! Nothing says you have lost the debate and the moral high ground like re-education camps.

In recent months, I’ve been thinking, as many American Jews have, about antisemitism and anti-Zionism on campus. And I’ve been thinking, too, about the polls showing that support for Israel, in America, is generational. Look at the age breakdown in the December Times/Siena poll:

Asked whether they sympathize more with the Israelis or the Palestinians, 63 percent of Americans 65 and older said the Israelis. Among those aged 18 to 29, 27 percent sympathized more with Israelis.

Seventy percent of those 65 and up supported additional aid to Israel. Fifty-five percent of people 18 to 29 opposed it.

Asked whether Israel should end its military campaign, even if Hamas has not been fully eliminated, in order to spare civilians, 67 percent 18 to 29 said they should. Only 30 percent 65 and up agreed.

Asked whether Israel is seriously interested in peace, 54 percent over age 65 said it was. Fifty-nine percent 18 to 29 said it wasn’t.

This was also to the point

Is there antisemitism on campuses? Absolutely. But I visit colleges constantly. Antisemitism isn’t what is bringing most of those students out to the rallies. Antisemitism is not why most 18- to 29-year-olds see Israel as the aggressor nation. Antisemitism is not why the images and facts out of Gaza horrify. They are opposed to the Israel they know: an Israel that has no interest in peace — that has actively sabotaged efforts at peace — and that can imagine no security for itself absent the endless control of Palestinian lives.

Which is one reason I think the response to the protests on campus has been misguided. This is not a problem you can solve by firing college presidents or blackballing student radicals. Israel is losing the support of a generation, not a few student groups. And it is losing it because of what it does, not what it is.

Teach them to understand the source of the information. Always follow the money. Who is providing the information and why should you listen to them.
