I guess Yale and UPenn do want athletes who also have high SAT scores. Very revealing.


Or multi million dollar donations - might not be the case here.

UVA notoriously does not want high SAT scores. I thought everyone knew that.

URMs have different scores and GPA.

Is there a source that publish gpa/sat scores for recruited athletes? Am I to assume, on average, they are on the lower end?

About 1600 African American kids scored above 1400 on the SAT last year. About 15000 Asian American kids did. Thus the need for slightly different admission standards.

Nope. NCAA has waived test requirements through 2024.

And false. Harvard and Ivies takes a lot of black kids, which then leaves fewer available for the lower tier schools.
