Distressed dad says 'never did I think I would have a problem finding food for my baby in America'

Let’s start naming the rare medical conditions. Will the baby or child ever be able to function and eat on its own regularly cooked meals at some point?
Or what is going on? What quality of life are we talking about? America certainly had issues with extremely costly End of Life care and an entitled attitude to Live Forever at all expenses.
What are we talking about here? Not acid reflux formula. Not soy formula for lactose intolerant.

Exactly

Curious what NHS in England would do in these such cases? Ward of the state?

Well then. Buy it elsewhere OP. At the market price.

So there are times when we need a strong federal government. 👍

Turns out we actually need a strong federal government and, gee whodathunkit, regulations.

I do hope this problem is resolved quickly. Unlike forced birthers, I actually care about existing people and don’t want them to suffer.

What do other countries do for these such children that require specialized manufactured foods?

What does it matter what they do? We don’t like communist socialists in this country. Pull yourself up by your boot straps and go pay for your formula. Or act like an adult and sign up for welfare + Medicaid for your kids - they’ll send you formula from insurance stockpiles then.

Cradle to grave, Bidens got you covered.

Expect more shortages of essentials soon. Fertilizer costs have jumped something like 500% and that’s what farmers need to grow food. This was happening late last year and made the news a couple months ago.

I suspect shortages in any small essential food and household necessities.

Car prices are set to increase as well…they have by 40-50% already so expect to see any decent vehicle with good mileage to be self well above market value.

+1 true.

Buckle up.

For starters NHS has to ration out its treatments and budget. Or go get private health insurance in addition to your 9% if each paycheck NHS pull.

This has been going on for a while. People should educate themselves before pretending it's not a big deal: https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/2022/02/23/formula-recall-fda-elecare-allergy/

Also, though, this isn't Biden's fault.

Medical decisions are made between a patient and doctor only. Why do you think you have the right to “name” and discuss other people’s medical issues?

The left is full of insane hypocritical jerks, that are revealing themselves to want to kill other Americans.

Please tell the GOP that.

Hopefully Abbott can increase production quickly given that people are now hoarding.

How can we help? Does the formula factory need more employees? I have a soon to be high school graduate that will be looking for a summer job.

Hoarding? Where have you seen a reputable news source indicating people are hoarding?

Even regular baby formula is in short supply. There is no formula to “hoard.”

These articles were published Sunday, May 8th. Post some recent articles that show parents are hoarding formula.

From NYT:
Now, several major retailers eager to preserve inventory are limiting how much baby formula their customers can buy.

The drugstore chain CVS said in a statement that “following supplier challenges and increased customer demand,” buyers will be limited to three baby formula products per purchase in stores and online.

Walgreens echoed that in a statement, saying it had also imposed a three-item limit in an attempt “to help improve inventory.” Target said it had a four-item limit online but no in-store limits.

The “increased demand” and purchase limits are because of hoarding. People are concerned about supply and buying more than they previously bought.

He needs to open his own factory since this one is closed.
