When has this been proposed, who called it socialist and said it couldn't happen? Or are you just throwing your own imaginary nonsense out there? Are you actually doing something about this? Or do you prefer cowering in your made-up world of fear?

Because what she is proposing is literally socialism. Republicans call a lot less socialism like I don't know affordable health care.....
Despite the fact that we already have socialist institutions like education, fire departments, etc. You know we all pay for things that everyone benefits from.
But heaven forbid someone not make enough money. We need to privatize all of that now and take money away from those institutions

Again, I would like this dad to point me to where providing formula is deeply rooted in our history.
That's going to be the law of the land now so I guess he should get used to giving up a lot more than food

This is so easy. He can just move to a state where there's plenty of food

Or file a lawsuit against a lactating woman. So the supreme Court can rule that that any lactating woman must now feed all of the starving children.

Super rare.

It’s been a big issue discussed in parenting groups.

I hope the FDA/Biden can step in. But I like a strong gov’t and all of that.

Didn't the government shut the formula plant down in the first place?

Or is that not pro-life enough for them??

A law must be passed that all lactating women must feed starving babies upon demand. Their bodies must continue to be used to sustain life indefinitely. We're getting into some real grapes of wrath here.....

What about a headline distressed mother Never thought she would have to sacrifice her life for an ectopic pregnancy.

Friend, where has your head been the last 20 years? Marvin Shkreli. Insulin. Anytime a generic drug for an orphaned disease disappears because the makers don’t want to do it anymore. Some of us have been caring about this for a long time while you have been living in your made up world of perfect capitalism where your health insurance is perfect and you can buy everything you need so anyone else who experiences differently only has themselves to blame.

The kids who need these formulas aren’t going to do well on breast milk from a standard American mom’s diet. The law also needs to say that the woman can’t eat eggs, dairy, gluten, nuts, soy, sesame, or any other allergenic food for as long as she’s pressed into wet nurse servitude.

A lot of these formulas are for people who literally cannot digest or process protein in any form, so no, human milk wouldn’t work.

Just stop with the stupid, snarky comments.

This is a huge issue right now.... for babies who cannot take traditional formula, for mothers unable to nurse, and even for some older children and adults with digestive issues.
And, Biden, et al, are silent.

They're silent on a lot of things. Call me when my civil liberties and right to vote aren't being trampled. Until they you can order your formula from eBay - I've been told for years that European brands are better anyway.

democrats seem to not care that sick and or special needs babies and adults are unable to find the food they need to sustain their lives.

No, we don't care you're paying more to feed the babies you insist we all have. Babies are expensive. Get used to it. Put some miles and gas in those cars and go formula hunting. It builds character.

This issue doesn’t hurt me personally, but I do care about the well being and life of my fellow man. Especially those who have special needs and could go hungry/starve to death.
