This thread is about the unequal treatment of foreigners trying to evacuate. Take your hate and racist views to a different thread.

The countries that those foreigners are from are responsible for evacuating them.
When you are a guest in another country and something like this happens, you go straight to your country's embassy. Or you stay and fight alongside your hosts. Or you hunker down and hope for the best.
It is the height of arrogance and entitlement for ANYONE who has been living as a guest in a country to go running for the border waving their passport around expecting to be rescued, while the people who live there fight for their lives.

I saw this on reddit - Indian students (women) beaten by Ukrainian soldiers at the border. Looks like this went viral in India and media there is blasting Ukraine. India had taken a neutral stance before this.

Where are the embassies of these foreign nationals? Ukraine is busy fighting for their very existence. They do not have time to worry about evacuating able bodied men.

well, my streaming subscription is basically like xfinity and includes all the channels I would be able to get back home including SEVERAL news channels. Most are reporting about this issue with the Polish boarder. French media is usually very objective and non bias, in particular the 8pm/ 20:00 news which people in France still watch.

DP. But what are those stations basing their reports on? If they are all jumping to be first to report based on a couple of unverified anecdotes, then it is entirely possible their reporting does not accurately reflect what is happening on the ground.

In one article I read a Nigerian student said they contacted their embassy in Kyiv and embassy workers pretty much told them they can’t help so they have to get out the country on their own. The student said they were abandoned by their government.
