Josh’s kids got dumped on the family. She fell asleep, and the kid got away.

I see what the PP is saying. I see what you're saying. I just have to say you're both right. Because generally someone like Jana wouldn't have been charged but she was. And remember the ATTORNEY GENERAL of South Dakota killed someone while driving and got away scott-free in 2021. Like he literally ran the man over with his car, didn't provide assistance, the victim's glasses were found in his front passenger seat post accident, and he was never charged with vehicular manslaughter or fleeing the scene of a crime.

Because she is with her husband (or was until his conviction this week) and he couldn’t be near children due to terms of his bail.

Katie Joy is live right now talking about it. She filed a FOIA. A child was found some ways away from the house (down and on a nearby road, at least .25 miles outside the gate). A man found the child and called police. No vehicles were involved. Almost certainly, a child wandered away while under her care.

DP, but I agree with PP - I am very surprised charges were filed unless something else was going on or this has been a regular occurrence. It's out of the ordinary for charges to be filed in a situation like this.

Maybe a sister could help, but in terms of Jana I doubt she would even know where to begin or how to leverage media interest. JB is so controlling you know she has never been included or to exposed to the money from deals like books. She's also probably brainwashed that spilling the tea on the family would be a major sin.

The Duggar’s didn’t cooperate with authorities when they tried to interview the M kids post-Josh’s arrest, so I don’t think they’ll be getting off with any warnings from now on. This incident happened before Jim Bob started his senate campaign too, I’m wondering if his political opponents helped leak the incident. I can’t believe he hasn’t dropped out yet. Isn’t the election Tuesday?
