She has friends and socializing. Honestly though, if you were her and your choices were: 1) stay single and live with your parents, and help raise your siblings and nieces/nephews, basically “the devil you know,” the same stuff you’ve been doing your whole life, or 2) get married to some guy that your parents basically pick out for you, you have no idea how it’s going to turn out, possibly have to move away, and be expected to pop out 5 kids in 6 years.

Correct. Josh was free on bail until he was found guilty last week but was staying with friends since he wasn't allowed around kids. Anna stayed with him, leaving her 6 kids at her in-laws. I'm sure she saw them, but she wasn't their primary caretaker for six full months or more.

(2) Forgive me for not reading this thread in its entirety, but is it known what Jana is alleged to have done? I know what the charge is, but there were no details provided in the citation.

Anna left her kids for almost 8 months—7 kids, one a newborn. Poor Jana.

She was watching a bunch of kids, fell asleep and one of the toddlers wandered off outside. I wish someone would rescue Jana.
