Teen DD has worn PJ bottoms to school every day for two weeks

Disagree. When have teens let their parents dress them? Wearing dumb trends is part of pushing boundaries as a teen. I really can’t imagine getting worked up over pajama bottoms at school. Let the kids have their dad jeans, middle parts, and sweatpants. They will look back and laugh about the silly trends.

It’s just your kid’s school. I teach HS and all sorts of kids - straight A students, athletes, art/theater kids, etc - are all wearing pajama bottoms. It’s certainly not a sign of depression or kids who have given up.

Do you keep those same PJs on when you get home? We don't sit on our beds in "street clothes". So I'm wondering if you climb back in bed.

I work in a middle school, and many girls are wearing them to school every day. It has absolutely become a "thing." I guess the good news is that they look clean and all (or most) are happily chatting with friends throughout the day.
