Disagree. When have teens let their parents dress them? Wearing dumb trends is part of pushing boundaries as a teen. I really can’t imagine getting worked up over pajama bottoms at school. Let the kids have their dad jeans, middle parts, and sweatpants. They will look back and laugh about the silly trends. |
Some parents are bad parents. Some parents are scared to say no to their kids. Which part is confusing? |
Got it. Yeah it could definitely be my kids’ school. We are on the west coast, so obviously trends differ. |
Do you keep those same PJs on when you get home? We don't sit on our beds in "street clothes". So I'm wondering if you climb back in bed. |
At pick up (high school) on a given day I might see 4 or 5 girls wearing them and a few boys. |
Exactly. |
| I work in a middle school, and many girls are wearing them to school every day. It has absolutely become a "thing." I guess the good news is that they look clean and all (or most) are happily chatting with friends throughout the day. |
LOL! Dislodge the stick, MeeMaw. |
It’s comfortable and you’re ignorant and judgmental. |
Mine doesn’t and I still think you’re the clown.
|
You’re so cool! We’re all so, so very impressed. |
Yes, it is. |
|
Not the hill to die on.
They will have the rest of their lives to wear business casual. |
Nope. You’re not the arbiter of what’s appropriate. |
You both sound like bitter old ladies. Just FYI. |
