We are supposed to have a warmer than normal spring. |
I honestly don't know the answer to that. They may need to isolate the patients to their rooms and handle visitors on a case by case basis. I don't know the solution. |
Wonder who Typhoid Mary is and whether or not she kept her travels (or her family's) to herself. |
Good. |
Lol! I saw what you did there. |
Sorry if this has already been covered in this thread, I didn't see it in the last couple of pages. So we have about 100 known cases in the US, and six deaths? That's, um, very troubling. |
That was on the basis of the Chinese studies. They did not note those with autoimmune disease. There was something like 2 out of 1500 or so noted with immunodeficiencies, not exactly the same thing. So this remains an unstudied area. |
They also lied about why they were wearing masks. |
I would say not really. Washington State was unfortunate in having this break out early in a facility for already fragile elderly people. All but five of the deaths are from this cluster. We know deaths are much higher in adults and higher still in those with pre-existing conditions, which is no doubt the case for those from the facility who died. |
Hey if they can make them and they actually work I’ll buy some! |
This is exactly why people don’t want to come forward. |
To self soothe, some people will say we have many more undetected cases. Our only hope is warm weather getting here soon and having an effect on the lipid envelope of the virus. Scientists don’t know — some say, yes, that may happen, but others say, no idea. If it doesn’t ... we’re in trouble. |
Fear of lawsuits? |
We need help in this country. Can we bring in Chinese experts? |
Does warm weather really slow the spread? Or is this one of those myths? |
