The suspected gunman who fatally shot UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson traveled by bus from Atlanta to New York before the shooting, a law enforcement source said. Authorities also said the suspect used a fake New Jersey driver’s license to check into an Upper West Side hostel.

Must have been fascinating or scared to read stuff like this day after day on the run. Wonder where he charged his phones and laptop?

I heard that he was separated at the time from his wife so of course I immediately thought she hired someone to kill him.

But I do wonder what the motive is for anyone doing such an evil thing.
I read that the three bullets that killed him had some words on them which is creepy.

Regardless I am quite confident that the killer will be caught very soon since there are even some photos that are showcasing his face.

Not just any 3 words, but the tactics insurance companies use to avoid paying claims; each bullet had a different one of the 3 D’s of the insurance industry on it: Delay, Deny, Defend.

Except thr third one didn’t say defend. It said depose.

Webster- Despose: remove from office suddenly and forcefully

Yup

]

Interesting. That was likely the only way to get his gun to NYC. Greyhound has no security check points.

Not any more!

It’s an option, it always was. It’s a premeditated murder with lots of evidence. Maybe it was sloppily recorded or collected and defense can have a field day, but that doesn’t mean Luigi didn’t go off the grid for months to plan and shoot someone dead in the back.

They brought FW the clarity so it can be in questioning during jury selection time, if this goes to federal trial.

We will never know. Unless he wrote about life in the run in his stupid notebook.!.

Lawyers running the show now.

Did Luigi even attempt to get another job after summer 2023 TrueCar job stopped? Anyone get his CV or networking? Or did he take the “solo travel and find myself for a year” approach to that?

Goes off the radar
Planned for months
Stalked a human target
Made a gun, decorated bullets, put funny money in a drop bag
Practiced the hit and location
Woke up at 5am, staked out the door, and lakes up to victim, shot him three times dead
And walked off.
Monitored the news and aftermath on the run.

One scary dude

He is not scary. He is a nice altruitsic dude with a great smile.

Know who else used to have nice smiles?

- the innocent children who’s father Luigi murdered in cold blood.

And so did small innocent children of patients who had their life saving health procedures and treatment denied by the AI UHC’s CEO allowed. Probably an even larger pool than his 19 year old and 16 year old “innocent children"

Name one.

+1. I have a super common cancer (breast cancer) and the treatment is so standard, no one gets denied. I have literally interacted with hundreds of other breast cancer patients and ZERO are denied chemo, radiation and surgery if indicated.

It gets way, way more challenging for patients suffering from a rare cancer or other ailment without a standard of care. I can absolutely see a patient feeling like their healthcare insurer is denying them lifesaving treatment when in reality, the treatment is experimental or doesn’t have proven success rates. Maybe the treatment would’ve saved their life, maybe it wouldn’t. There’s no way of knowing.

People aren’t complaining about being denied radiation for prostate cancer or chemo for a stage iv breast cancer patient. They’re complaining about treatments that may or may not be lifesaving.

I have a good friend w a blood cancer and she has had to jump through crazy hoops for standard of care treatment (and often pay out of pocket so she does t have a break in treatment while prior auths are processing, though she is generally reimbursed.)

(Despite all that and her anger at the insurance industry she thinks that people who are acting like murdering a man in cold blood is excusable or helpful are childish idiots.)

Have you ever asked yourself why those procedures cost so much? Why are you mad at the insurer and not the docs and the hospitals for charging ridiculous amounts? Why aren’t you calling HR to complain about the crap plan your company chose? You’re angry at the wrong group.

Sounds perfectly normal for a wage slave. Just take year off and find yourself.

Dumb, he could have gone to grad school or leveraged UPenn career services or looked for academic jobs at Club Fed.
20s it’s easy to find entry and mid level jobs or try out new industries or functions. Way less so by age 30+.

What’s new w Luigi? Is he remorseful yet and getting the mental help he needs?

His name even regularly comes up on SNL too!

Nothing strange about it. It’s a clear sign of just how deep-rooted leftist extremism has grown in the United States.

Time to reverse that.

In the news again today with death penalty sought. Has anything else come out about what may have led to this?
