Or taking a bus in circles!

I 100% guarantee I could find, stalk, study, and then intercept you at a place of my choosing, if I knew your name, approximate location, and what you do for a living. And it would probably take less than a week if you’re a typical private citizen, and much less if you’re higher profile - like a CEO.

The hardest part isn’t finding you - it’s covering MY tracks as I’m searching for you, so as not to leave data breadcrumbs that lead back to me.

Luigi were you posting here?!? You forgot to plan the aftermath!

How pathetic.

So the person went out and hired an assassin? Too chicken $hit to kill a white collared worker themself?

Death penalty for all involved.

People hire hitmen to minimize the risk of jail time.

Oops

I didn’t like the legal agreement or policy so I killed a person posted on their team website.

This. Full stop.

This is why it will get attention and the shooter will be imprisoned, especially if not a hit man and just a misguided mental case family member.

They called it: 12/5/24

Do you all know that a division of BCBS is rolling out a policy that basically arbitrarily predetermines the time allowed for anesthesia during procedures/ surgeries which will likely deny payment for life saving anesthesia and hike up patients costs and cut reimbursement for anesthesia. So what- now are surgeons going to have to speed up their surgeries?! I mean - freaking ridiculous. Something has to change.

Absolutely insane.

We are seriously considering leaving the US because the healthcare system is atrocious.

I find the health care to be quite good. I live outside of a city and have access to major hospitals and health care centers. I have preventative care. I am able to book appointments within a reasonable time. My doctors are good. My insurer hasn’t denied any test, procedure or lab work. No waits for surgeries.

I know people like to complain about heath care, but there are many benefits to the American system.

The health CARE is good. The system by which we have to pay for insurance and then are robbed of the ability to use it to cover the cost of the healthcare is evil and corrupt.

That discussion is irrelevant to the murder of this man.

We don’t know who the assassin is, we don’t know if they were hired or killed him for revenge. Or for some other reason. We know nothing.

If you want to complain about health care costs, start a new thread.

He was the CEO of the most profitable insurance company in the country, which makes profits by denying claims that end up killing people. It is actually 100% relevant to the conversation of why someone would personally and in a targeted way choose to gun him down.

It's really not. This thread is just rampant speculation and off topic commentary.

There is no suspect, no manifesto, nothing but speculation.

What an early premonition. Maybe he read that and whipped one up.

I don't blame them and if this was truly an upset customer or relative of one, I think it is a sign we are entering a new phase of late stage capitalism.

Nope.

Just another mentally disordered person from a mentally disordered family who thinks their normal is normal.

The words "deny," "defend" and "depose" were discovered by detectives on the shell casings found at the scene where Thompson was gunned down, police sources told ABC News.

Correct. He isn't serious about not being found.

This. I can imagine if you did this that subconsciously you would want to get caught. Because it's not half as cathartic if you don't get public credit for doing it.

Bingo sir!

So it was someone who was directly harmed by this shitty health insurance conglomerate. That was my first thought tbh. American dream, lol, have to be asleep to believe in it.

How on earth do you derive that from the NYT updates? That cannot be inferred from that at all.

Exactly. It looks political. He’s young.
