So if this isn't a witch hunt then why are you going after McKnight since she wasn't even super when all this happened?

She was the super last year when I was harassed and intimidated. I was too afraid to file a formal complaint because I saw how he wielded his power in the district.

Tell that to all the teachers that didn’t get the transfer position they wanted because he refused to answer phone calls from other principals. Or the teachers that were all involuntarily transferred because he retaliated by cutting their allocation. Or the teachers he stripped of leadership roles so he could give them to his buddies. I could keep going but I think you get the idea. Principals have much more power than you think.
he isn’t that powerful
save it
he is a five foot two man that uses the bathroom just like everyone else
put a fork in it

Before she was super, she had a series of other MCPS jobs that *also* would have put her in the stream of information about Beidleman’s behavior, and it is not credible to think that she didn’t know about it.

The meaning of “witch hunt” does not include parties correctly identifying three ladies in pointy hats with long stringy hair stirring a cauldron full of poison by moonlight.

She obviously knew about the complaints which is why she really specifically said during the Council committee session that she was not aware of an ongoing investigation at the time of his promotion. And the councilmembers knew not to question her on this.

There are a lot of former MCPS CO people on council staffs now. I’m sure there’s a lot of backchannel communications.

Depending on if they were in a position of failing to act as these complaints were repeatedly coming forward, wouldn’t that be relevant for the County Council to know? Seriously not a good look for the County Council if they don’t into whether there’s a connection to the MCPS scandal and their own staff.

Regardless, if the County Council expects MCPS to be transparent then they should be transparent as well.

I don't think principals feel like they have that much power when it comes to their own roles and responsibilities, so maybe some of them take it out on their staff. Or use their staff to meet their unmet power needs. It's a very top down district.

There is something about the County Council and the school system. The councilmembers are often critical of MCPS, but there are certain places they don't want to go. Clearly, publicly questioning McKnight about her involvement is one of those things. Maybe it is a liability issue. If MCPS has to pay a big settlement that comes out of the county's budget.

What did Munsey even do? A DWI? That's literally a drop in the bucket compared to the plethora of accusations against Biedleman
Normal people moved on frome race ages ago but equity-obsessed progressives moved it front and center in order to justify racially discriminatory policies. So when a Supreme Court Justice is chosen because she is 1. Black 2. A Woman 3. A Democrat 4. Qualified, you can't act surprised when people question her qualifications. When a school district hires a super because she is 1. Black 2. A Woman 3. Qualified, you can't act surprised when people question her qualifications.

Oh I am surprised when white people that are way under qualified are put in high ranking positions because they are just that… white and their fathers fathers were at the poker table every weekend with their secretary under the table. No one is buying that race isn’t playing a factor in this witch hunt.
You're one of those progressives who believe poor kids are just as smart as white kids, aren't you?

Let the racist show their faces. Why would the amount of money a family has equate to intelligence? and are you saying poor kids are black and not white? My point exactly. This board is full of racist that want to see Monifa and Joel on the block. You all aren’t fooling anyone.

So guess what mcps teachers. MCPS isn’t any different than any other organization in this country. You want to make the decisions get into a leadership position. It is the way of the world. Go get a masters, go get a doctorate, be the change you want to see. It is the way of the world.

But the poster is bringing another side to this mess. Everyone isn’t genuinely concerned about this case and some will use their Trump tactics to oversee the demise of two African American leaders. It’s an open forum where all opinions are allowed unless the name of the board is Bash Beidleman.

Lies are not "opinions", they are lies. Biedleman obviously has no place in an educational setting, and McKnight should have known that and fired him instead of promoting him. The only reason both of them are still employed is to limit liabilty against the school system. It's a disgrace. MCPS is a disgrace.

No one reading a headline sees this picture. There are a million people in this county. That aren't obsessed with the mcps website.

They are African American, but they are not leaders.

I have heard from people that were at the council hearing in person that members of NAACP and Black pastors were attending to support Dr. McKnight.

It was a reference to "Joe Biden Says 'Poor Kids Are Just as Bright as White Kids'." For the record, I was a lifelong Biden fan but come on man.
