So if this isn't a witch hunt then why are you going after McKnight since she wasn't even super when all this happened?

Are you dense??? Dude was promoted to principal under HER watch despite having numerous sexual harassment complaints against him. When these complaints begun is not important. She either knew about them or was asleep at the wheel. Both scenarios are bad.

What did Munsey even do? A DWI? That's literally a drop in the bucket compared to the plethora of accusations against Biedleman
Normal people moved on frome race ages ago but equity-obsessed progressives moved it front and center in order to justify racially discriminatory policies. So when a Supreme Court Justice is chosen because she is 1. Black 2. A Woman 3. A Democrat 4. Qualified, you can't act surprised when people question her qualifications. When a school district hires a super because she is 1. Black 2. A Woman 3. Qualified, you can't act surprised when people question her qualifications.

Oh I am surprised when white people that are way under qualified are put in high ranking positions because they are just that… white and their fathers fathers were at the poker table every weekend with their secretary under the table. No one is buying that race isn’t playing a factor in this witch hunt.
You're one of those progressives who believe poor kids are just as smart as white kids, aren't you?

Judge Brown Jackson: DC Circuit Court Judge; US District Court Judge; Vice-Chair of the US Sentencing Commission; former public defender; SCOTUS clerk

Judge Coney Barrett: US Court of Appeals; SCOTUS clerk; law professor

One of these people is actually more qualified than the other, but tell me more about how unqualified Black women are promoted.

To tie this back to the discussion at hand, I actually do believe Beidelman benefited from being a Black man in education. But that's not about race, it's about gender. Men in education absolutely benefit from a "glass escalator" out of the classroom and into administration.
As a liberal (read non-woke) Democrat I wasn't thrilled with Barrett's pick either. But between Barrett and Jackson, only one was hired specifically for her race and gender.

With DEI as MCPS's main priority, we know that's why Mcknight was hired as well. When you use characteristics like race, gender, and political ideology as your main qualifiers and make excellence a distance fourth, by definition, you're going to get less qualified people.

You can say that as often as you want, but it's still wrong.

This has been such typical MCPS. Serious wrongdoing. Conduct your own sham investigation so that you can influence witnesses and shape the real investigation. Hope that people forget about it and that it goes away. It’s been clear since the first Vigna allegations surfaced that this school system has serious culture problems. I don’t think that will change because there is no accountability for anyone, and the current system suits most of the employees and leadership just fine. It’s unfortunate that teachers and students get hurt in the process.

Before she was super, she had a series of other MCPS jobs that *also* would have put her in the stream of information about Beidleman’s behavior, and it is not credible to think that she didn’t know about it.

The meaning of “witch hunt” does not include parties correctly identifying three ladies in pointy hats with long stringy hair stirring a cauldron full of poison by moonlight.

She obviously knew about the complaints which is why she really specifically said during the Council committee session that she was not aware of an ongoing investigation at the time of his promotion. And the councilmembers knew not to question her on this.

She was the super last year when I was harassed and intimidated. I was too afraid to file a formal complaint because I saw how he wielded his power in the district.

Did you file an informal complaint? Did you go to HR to complain anonymously? How did you handle it?

If McKnight isn't guilty, then McKnight and the BoE should have no problems releasing the report. But yet.. they don't. Hmm. I wonder why.

Nah that was the previous super.

There are a lot of former MCPS CO people on council staffs now. I’m sure there’s a lot of backchannel communications.

And what is the report going to do? So people can speculate who is saying and what? So the community can spew lies and humiliate people. This is a country of misery loves company. Let mcps take the course it needs to take and let it be. It’s like watching a lynching. This is the same as the slave masters putting the slave on a block while all of you watch him get lynched. STOP IT

Most of these posters are foaming at the mouth over this simply because they hate the idea of an AA woman super. It's hard to take seriously since this happened years before she was in even super.

I don't know. DCUM has a long history of hating on supers. Or at least until they've been gone a decade or so and we see them through our rose-colored shades.

+1 two previous Supes were old white males, and they got plenty of hate.

Omg, Jack was the freaking worst.

Actually Starr was the worst.
