Now imagine if those “good people” voted for politicians who support gun control, so the next family won’t have to have their teenager’s ORGANS HARVESTED.

Really? He looks like any other 15 year old. There is nothing to indicate he is low IQ. You cannot tell that from a mug shot.
What he did was horrific but walking around judging people as subhuman, low IQ, and crazy by their appearance is awful.

No, he doesn't look like any other 15 yr old. He looks like a criminal and low IQ man. You put him in a suit and he will still looks criminal. Maybe he is poor and that shows in his appearance too. But you can look at rich, depraved criminal men, and while they will look expensively attired and entitled...their criminality also shows on their faces. Especially the eyes. This looks like an evil man and his parents also look evil.

He is still a 15 year old CHILD.

He's not being charged as a CHILD and rightly so.

+1

There are facial deformities that connect to mental illness.

Interesting. Can you share more about this? If this is true, I wonder if this is some of the subtle things our guts are telling us when they subconsciously warn us about someone.

The amount of ignorance and misogyny being spread in this post is disgusting. PP you are an uneducated dunce.

The parents refused to take their own child home (because that would be admitting their failures).

The parents bought and gave their child with major probkems a gun.

The parents also encouraged the shooters behaviors (“just don’t get caught”.

On and on.

Give it a rest with blaming the school.

Doesn’t matter if the parents refuse. The school should have called police then and there to remove him. You can’t excuse that. They LET him go back to class.

And failed to protect the many other kids for whose safety they were responsible. I can’t fathom how many people are defending them helplessly throwing up their hands and saying “we asked his parents to take him and they said no. What do you expect us to do?”

They are going to be sued to hell and back and rightly so.

And in our district, if any kid mentions self harm, they are immediately pulled from class, parents called and sent home. They can't return without getting psychological help and being cleared for return l.

The school district dropped the ball.

One of my siblings’ kids was doing a project in class where they were working in groups and were creating a fictional disease/illness, creating its symptoms and treatment, etc. The kid googled on a school Chromebook “how many hours can you go without sleep before you die?” Obviously this was flagged and the kid was called down to the office within just over an hour and questioned extensively to see if they weren’t OK.

Don’t tell me this willful helplessness on the part of the school is just how it is. BS. They were CYA-ing because they didn’t want to hassle with, or be sued by, the parents and their inaction cost four kids their lives and hundreds of other kids were traumatized.

No, this does not absolve the parents and I hope fervently they rot, but there’s pleeeeenty of blame and liability to go around.

I’m concerned that they’ll have some violent standoff.

PP here sad to be right about this and praying for law enforcement and bystanders.

Gotta love the lawyer still saying they’re “not on the run” when they withdrew $4,000 cash from an ATM on Friday and although they were being tracked by cellphone, the phones have since been turned off.

The district is relatively tiny with only 7,000 total kids [note: Michigan does NOT have county-wide districts], and the payroll is full of white folks making six-figures, with superintendent Timothy Throne making over $204,000 in wages alone.

+1 The teachers did everything right and the administration… did not.

The genius bloated brass of the 7,000 kid district:

Superintendent - Timothy Throne - $204,022

Asst. superintendent - Kenneth Weaver - $157,946

Asst. superintendent - Denise Sweat - $150,223

Principal - Steven Wolf - $134,832

They're on the run in Detroit proper, east side of Detroit? I suspected all week they're drug addicts. Opioid crisis has slaughter over 3,000 in Michigan this year alone.

That’s the township system. Totally typical. Irrelevant except for whoever it was who so royally FUBARd that parents’ meeting.

Parents were arrested. They didn't seem to be "on the run" as previously reported. They were literally in the house their car was found at.

They were due for arraignment on Friday. They did not show up. It is not optional.

P.S. Remind us again what they needed $4K in cash for?

Nothing says “not on the run” like hiding in the basement of a warehouse.

They’re certainly not.
They’re just angry white parents raising an angry white son. Imagine buying a gun for your son and knowing he’d shoot up a school allow it and then abandoning him in jail . I’m glad they’ll all go down together.

Someone on 6 figures, ESPECIALLY in that area, should not be allowed to “FUBAR” anything. I agree with the PP that a whole bunch of people need to go down for this, including this incompetent overpaid administration.
