Murder at Lululemon in Bethesda

Believe you me she was probably desperate to make sure there was NO way she would live after a certain point which is why she slit her throat! But the fact that she had the nerve or rage to that extent is REALLY sad. I doubt that it was a new issue for her. It has probably been following her everywhere just this time it went well beyond where it ever had in the past!

What if she knew some sort of martial art or attacked her from behind?

Seems she could tie herself up with those plastic zip tie things, that would be easy to do.

I mean think about it. Think of all the people on this site so far that have displayed anger. It isn't all that uncommon. Some people just have NO control. They spend their life having knee jerk reactions and acting on them. The display that we have seen on this site is a good example of that. I wouldn't be surprised is some of the people that have been an issue on this Forum don't have anger issues in their daily life. Typically they project their issue onto others. They would NEVER be angry the way they are if it weren't for all of the people around them that cause them to be angry! Sound familiar?

I'm the person who said all of you speculators were empty, gross people (paraphrasing myself).

What is my lesson learned? Nothing. I said several times that it is human nature to speculate, but since we had a woman who was the presumed victim of a violent sexual assault, I think the off chance that her story was true was sufficient for people to keep their speculation to themselves or, at least, not to a public forum.

It seems to me that a passel of children came onto this site with a firm grasp on a pretty obvious possibility (coworker might actually be involved -- well, no shit. But until you know that, and since she was listed as being badly hurt, raped, and in the hospital for 72 hours, shut up).

Just because you were "right" doesn't mean it was okay to speculate publicly before you had the facts. That was my problem. It's not that I didn't "believe" any of you could be right. It's that the consequences if you'd been wrong would have been brutally devastating for the woman and her families.

Now, I still feel sick from reading some of you, especially you, exclamation points !!!!. You seem really happy right now. It's like you are giddy and drunk on your own "wisdom." Guess what: it would occur to just about anyone hearing the story that the other presumed victim was involved. But some people will have enough class not to smear someone with speculation, and some people just get punch drunk on Nancy Drew fantasies.

So, here you go, another gold star. You were "right," but you're still an asshole.

22:48 - Police would not comment on the motive at the press [i][code]conference.

22:39 - several posters have said they were sorry they attacked the PPs who thought it was an inside job.
