Just because "normal" people find the BEHAVIOR insane does not necessarily meet the legal definition of insane. She knew the difference between right and wrong. Look at everything (we know so far) she did to conceal her crime.

What do you mean by "normal"? Yeah I am normal because I do not murder people. He behavior was certainly not normal or sane so I think insane is a great description. Sorry Ms. KNow it all that it does not match the exact definition.

They said forensic AND physical. Maybe it was something belonging to Brittany? Like whatever she claimed to have left in the store, or her keys or something. I can't imagine what she would have left behind that would have been an indicator that she was in the car (other than forensic DNA, etc.) I hate to say it, but she seems to have been pretty level headed about trying to cover her tracks--tying herself up, roughing herself up, moving the car, making footprints with size 14 shoes, claiming one of the men was 5'3"... All of those things, btw, will get her nailed on a first degree murder charge.

Maybe they found her hair or finger prints in the car when they shouldn't have been there. Or they saw her on a survellaince camera getting in and moving it. There are quite a few street cameras in Bethesda.

PP was just making a distinction between the normal understanding and legal definition of insane. You might do some crazy sh*t that might not qualify as legally insane at trial such that your sentence may be lessened or you may not be found guilty. I don't think she was being a know-it-all at all.

and silence from all the people who said it was sooo horrible and disgusting to think that this girl was involved.

Just report (!) the offending thread (lower left corner) and the diligent site admin will eventually get to it. Also they can trace IP address and hostname of most flamers/trolls/etc. Ignore the ignorant and focus on the facts at hand.

Holy crap, is she at Seven Locks? And in Lululemon too.

Sorry, I meant right corner (!) yellow report tag.

Norwood looks tiny. Murray looks much bigger than 5'3". Must have been caught by surprise or jumped.

Jayna was about my height - 5'7". I didn't think Brittany was as short as 5'3" but perhaps she was - certainly a lot smaller and shorter than Jayna. And less strong.

Listening to the reports about the crime scene, and then learning about the size discrepancy of the two women, it seems likely that a knife was involved. That is just speculation on my part.

you would think the murderer would have been more injured if this was hand-to-hand combat and there was no knife or gun, just hand-tools. basing this on the size of the victim and the numerous reports about her athletic ability and strength.

Wow. I was offline all day until now and am just now reading all of this.

It's just unreal.

Is anyone saying what the motive was?
Anonymous
She probably just picked up the hammer in a fit of rage and walloped her
Anonymous
Maybe that is why she slit her throat, if that is true. Because she couldn't have overpowered Jayna otherwise.
