Useless poll. The author only asked some public school coaches for input.

Surprise result. Just heard Sidwell beat O’Connell. Looks like DJO is worse this year than last year. Maybe fighting for 6th place in WCAC instead of 5th.

That is a surprise. Significant one.

DJO has been hit with the flu bug. Still a concerning loss to a team they should have handled with ease. Let’s see what happens next week when their kids are healthy again.

Three 8-10 goal wins. Pretty impressive run through the 2-3-4 level of the WCAC.

ISL big 3 dads telling themselves that it's just because the WCAC is weak, and Potomac is never going to win the league. Getting nervous.

Pretty certain Potomac has never won an ISL AA banner but you can’t deny they haven’t looked very impressive in these first few games. SJC, BI, and PVI are all very solid programs.

Next week the Panthers head north and will play some big time competition in Philly.

IMO, Potomac is a contentder for ISLAA title. SR not as strong this year and if there is a year Potomac can do it, this is it.

Dont sleep on Visi, they have more depth than one would think.

SR is young this year.

Potomac has a loaded senior class.

They all "were" solid programs, SJC and BI have newer coaches and are rebuilding and it shows, PVI, lost the attacker with the attitude problem who was also the main offensive player, and her loud obnoxious father and have no one even close to filling those shoes. All in all this is a down year for the entirety of the WCAC.

Saints are extremely talented too. They have a Sophomore defender that is as impressive as their committed middies. I could see these top 4 teams trading wins and losses in the regular season round robin and going into ISL AA playoffs with an "anybody's game" scenario.

Potomac's next game isn't until the 25th. Are they really taking next week off so kiddos can go on spring break, something which no other top team does. Not a way to build a championship contender.
Anonymous
Potomac has a two week spring break. I’m sure they will practice for some portion of that.

Potomac smart letting the girls take a break. Many of them are going year round and they get burned out. My money is on Potomac winning out with Visi a strong 2nd. Sssas does not use their depth to their advantage and will not beat either of these teams
